A Gamble has been taken and the game has set off on a new course, but for this to happen, a sacrifice was needed, and CutieCat paid the price.

I really did enjoy CutieCat this season, she was a fun mix of Over the Top Comedy as well as some sincere moments. I had been pondering the idea of a Youtube Personality on SFC for quite a while, and this season it ended up working, although I had to go through many different names for her at first because it turns out all of the previous names WERE Existing Semi Popular Youtube Channels. And while there is a Legit CutieCat Channel, its not nearly as big as the other options.

One of the big things I wanted to make sure and do with her, was make her a unique character in the regards that she wasn't going to be a ripoff of an existing Youtuber, or a take that towards anyone in particular, but try and create her own brand... and I think I did that. One thing that I actually did change from an earlier draft was CutieCat and Jahira's position in the game, initially it was going to be CutieCat being rocked out, and Jahira leaving here, however, given that Jahira had a story set up that could come to a head at that.... plus with Jahira's betrayal, it opened up some good character developing moments for CutieCat before her departure that's when I decided to play it, and this Tribal Council worked better with CutieCat with her as the lamb in the den with all of the lions who decided to take her out. She found herself out of her leauge, and betrayed, unable to put up a convincing argument against the more seasoned players in the game.

Overall, I'm really happy with how CutieCat as a player came out, she started as someone that was a bit of a caricature, didn't do much in the game, but over time we got to see more of her facade break down and get to know the real her, which culminated in this episode as a nice sendoff to her. And of the Disastrous alliance of the Koko Girls who could never get their act together and thrive in the big leagues, at least she made it to the jury, and at the very least, now she has wifi.

But now that she's gone.... The game has changed. The Biggest players are all together on the same side.... while the other players are completely in the dark....

I keep thinking that "Jenny's smarter than this." but she keeps proving me wrong. It's honestly disappointing.

Reply SWSU-Master, June 7th, 2018, 12:09 am

@landis963: In her defense this wasnt the worst move. She left with an idol and loyalty

Reply landis963, June 7th, 2018, 8:54 am

@SWSU-Master: Assuming Kade's loyalty is worth anything at all.

Reply anime9001, June 7th, 2018, 1:44 pm

@landis963: Well, Derek's loyalty is probably worth something.

Reply ChronoAlone, June 6th, 2018, 10:12 pm

Well. That happened.

Reply SWSU-Master, June 7th, 2018, 12:09 am

@ChronoAlone: Yes it did

Reply RedBeryl, June 6th, 2018, 10:12 pm

And Kade the snake survives another hit.

Reply SWSU-Master, June 7th, 2018, 12:10 am

@RedBeryl: More of a Cat than a snake at this point.

Reply anime9001, June 7th, 2018, 1:45 pm

@SWSU-Master: To be fair, he just proved he's far better at surviving than the cat.

This plan will crumble in about 5 minutes and all this results in is a bitter, bitter juror. CutieCat, meh. Cat puns are annoying and should have died with Prussia

@Blastoise_FTW: You gotta be Kitten me....

And thus the last of the Koko Girls is out of the game. I had a feeling she would be leaving, but it still hurts.

CeCe never really progressed past being anything more than a side character, but she never needed to be. She was a fun, enjoyable character who added some positivity to the season. However, I do feel that her character development felt slightly rushed, as she had her development on Exile, and was then immediately booted upon her return. Didn't really give it enough time to simmer in my opinion. But hey, It's not a problem.

Goodbye CutieCat, I'll be sure to remember to rate, comment, and subscribe.

Reply SWSU-Master, June 7th, 2018, 12:13 am

@DrMarble: She had her development this episode at least.

Reply dat4yc, June 6th, 2018, 10:18 pm

Wow. What a play by Kade. This could be extremely beneficial for Jenny or a big mistake. But it definitely sets up her Jeannie Derek and Kade as a power group if it works out. I'm psyched to see if this will work out.

Kade has honestly improved so much these last few episodes and has grown into a really intelligent and interesting (albeit still a bit of a prick lol) villain. I'm so looking forward to see if he keeps his word or if Jenny and Derek just made a huge mistake.

As for CutieCat, I really liked her. She was a little gimmicky at times but in the grand scheme she had a nice arc and was really endearing and funny. It was pretty clear she did have much to do with the rest of the season's story, so this is a good time for her to leave, but she will be missed.

Ollie > Jenny > Raiza > Parmesan > Mele > Jeannie > Kade > Derek > Josh

I just wanna say, I actually really love all of these characters, which makes the rankings really difficult and potentially misleading haha. It hurts me to put Derek and Josh so low, but I really just thought Kade has been getting so much more compelling and I have just loved everyone else too much. What a damn cast.

Reply SWSU-Master, June 7th, 2018, 12:14 am

@dat4yc: I'm glad you're liking the season alot. :D

Reply vanilladream, June 6th, 2018, 10:30 pm

I gotta say I wasn't expecting this to happen, but I do think it's for the best and makes the most sense given the scenario. I hope Derek/Jeannie/Jenny/Kade can make this plan work because I do really enjoy all of them now (yes, even Jenny.)

Reply SWSU-Master, June 7th, 2018, 12:15 am

@vanilladream: Wow, now thats a bit of a shocker

Eleventh! (voted out) I’m not one to judge characters based on how “real” they may be, but I think her realness is why I ended up liking Allison/CutieCat/CeCe as much as I did. CeCe coming to terms with the fact that she’s been putting on this mask the entire time kind of connected to me in a way I didn’t think was possible. I’ve watched many an internet personality, and it never really occured to me that they could also be playing up their personalities in times of inner turmoil, and I really liked that about this character. That said, I do wish she would’ve seen some more development with this.

That was even more chaotic than I imagined it would be. Probably the most eventful Tribal yet. I might need to reread this a few more times to fully understand what’s happening.

1. Jeanie
2. Parmesan
3. Mele
4. Derek (+3)
5. CutieCat (+1)
6. Kade (-1)
7. Jenny (+3)
8. Josh (+1)
9. Ollie (+2)
10. Raiza

Gasp! Ollie has escaped the bottom spot! Not like it matters much, because all of these people are much better than the earlier boots. But still, progress! Hopefully Raiza can get out of this new gutter as well with her new character development. No more emo moments!

@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: There's been alot going on with these Tribal Council Questionings this season...

Reply SkySurfer, June 7th, 2018, 12:08 am

So Kade's target didn't change from what I expected at the beginning of this round. I gotta admit though he impresses me more and more as a villain - he's great at manipulating people and he keeps surviving without an idol besides having no "real" ally in the game.

While I think CutieCat was the most expendable player in the tribe, it's still cruel she didn't have enough time to really recover from the last betrayal. Leaving because you're treated as a "Free boot" option is never comforting but she was way more entertaining than I expected. Maybe a bit more naive than necessary but with enough positive energy to justify her stay till day 24. I hope we will be told later that her time on Ponderosa was more positive, she deserves that much.

Reply SWSU-Master, June 7th, 2018, 12:27 am

@SkySurfer: And she'll have Slash in Ponderosa so she'll have a nice person with her.

Reply qazox, June 7th, 2018, 6:40 am

To be honest, she is a Wily CeCe what'd you expect?. Now if Kade is going to keep his word from here, he needs to start on the other side to get them to get Jenny out.

Reply DryIceBros, June 7th, 2018, 7:05 am

Well, CutieCat's gone. That makes me happy. I was never really that big on CutieCat. Throughout the entire season, she just existed and cracked jokes and cracked for a bit. The one bit of intrigue I got from her was following the Jahira boot, when she started showing signs of going off the rails. However, that would only lead to disappointment, as this would only go on for a couple comics before she cleared it all up. My dreams of a batshit insane CutieCat had been shattered and for that you must pay. But even though I hated her more than I've ever hated anything, she was fine. Her presence was never something I got bothered by, which is good enough for me! So, yeah. I can empathize with her frustration at her elimination, considering not only did she get betrayed by her closest ally once again, it happened because she was too irrelevant. She lost her chance at the million dollars because she wasn't important enough to consider in future plans. Despite my bitching about her, she's actually pretty alright. Just worse than everyone else, so I'm glad she left now rather than later.

1. Jeannie (Still the Top Waifu
2. Kade (Pretty Darn Great)
3. Ollie (Beautiful)
4. Derek (Pretty Darn Good)
5. Jenny (Pretty Darn Good)
6. Parmesan (Real Good)
7. Mele (Ultimate Good)
8. Slash (The Father of Good Stuff)
9. Josh (Not A King, But Also Good)
10. Raiza (Not Queen, But Still Good)
11. Jahira (There Are A Lot of Queens)
12. Amadeus (God)
13. Quickscope (King)
14. CutieCat (Yet Another Queen)
15. Nezumi (Other Queen)
16. Joy (QUEEN)
17. Tony (Meh
18. Lester (Meh)
19. Naomi (Meh)
20. Charity (Meh)

Eh, it's just as well. CutieCat's story was finished up after her character development on the island. Plus she never really did anything of note other than screw up publicly and make LP jokes. It is what it is.

As for Kade, I'm continually impressed by his ability to worm his way out of situations like this. It's a shame he's never going to win the game, considering his mission goal of burning every bridge he ever built and forcing big moves at every Tribal Council he's in.

Reply anime9001, June 7th, 2018, 1:53 pm

Wow. Now that's a power play. And.....actually sounds like a ridiculously good move, assuming Kade/everyone sticks to it. I even believe Kade when he says this in the only chance any of the three of them have a chance of winning this game. Derek and Jenny really do have really low odds of making it all the way to the end as things are currently going, and Kade would never win against....anyone left in this game to the jury, but if he can sit there and say "by the way, Jenny and Derek betrayed you 2 weeks ago and planned for us to be the final 3" he....could actually pull it off himself.

As I said a day or two ago, I have absolutely loved this episode, and I think this power move was a great way to end it! This season is shaping up to be something special, and I look forward to what comes of it~

Oh, and CutieCat was a fun character. I'm glad she was here, and survived the longest of the Koko girls, but I'm not too upset to see her leave here.

The CutieCat experience has been a great one. She really did become one of my favorites this season, and she will be dearly missed.
