Being Drunk has its advantages.

Yeah, Thorne's done. That was sweet and all, but Thorne's done.

Aww. The only time I will ever even remotely care about Thorne and Sierra. Cute Moment.

Reply Tailslover13, July 9th, 2017, 10:02 pm

It's in my belief that when you're drunk, you're allowed to become your true self, not "you become someone who ISN'T you" like so many people believe. Basically, when you're drunk, your brain becomes inebriated and doesn't allow you to have full control over it, which in turn makes you act like your true self without any moral compass. In other words, it makes you act how you normally would without your own feelings and desires stepping in to stop you. So...this is how Thorne would used to be, before she became a murdering bitch? Huh. Still doesn't make me like her, though; if anything, it just makes me feel bad for Sierra that her sister turned into the monster she is today. Really sad.

Well, that felt REALLY strange coming from Thorne. Nice to see her and Sierra having at least a single good moment before Thorne goes come TC though.

Reply dat4yc, July 9th, 2017, 10:17 pm

Wow, that's pretty great. I knew Thorne had some good left in her, as deep down as it may be. This is a really great moment.

Reply RedBeryl, July 9th, 2017, 10:22 pm

A tender moment between sisters... even if one of 'em is plastered. Can only imagine what Angelo would think if he saw this. How much did she even drink? Either she's a lightweight or a boozehound.

Goes to show, even murderers have people they care about... some more creepy and stalkery than others.

this is almost certainly Thorne's boot episode, but at least Sierra gets one last nice moment with her, even though Thorne had to get wasted first

Reply GaryHawkinsLandscaper, July 9th, 2017, 10:44 pm

And the story of the sisters finally advances! Sadly, it looks like Thorne won't be lasting much longer. At least we got some real human emotion from her for once!

Oh my sweet Mother indeed,...she did it. They did it. We absolutely got Proof at LONG FUCKING LAST that my Predictions for both Sisters is TRUE ALL ALONG!!!

Thorne was someone that was indeed the initial Random Pick to return at 1st, but after thinking it through in the preseason during cast reveals, I was finally Rewarded w/ concrete PROOF that Thorne still had that good conscious buried DEEP in her somewhere! Sure it took her getting Drunk off her ass 1st but...we really, TRUELY get to see the REAL LOLITA 1st-Hand in a span of 2 SEASONS (bf becoming the Killer she it today referred to as "Thorne"). All in all, she's doing ALL of this dirty work for BvW, for the sake of PROTECTING her good Twin & taking ALL the blame as the Distraction (as well as making 1 FINAL atonement likely to her Twin Sierra, w/ this adventure/season as part of their Last Quality HOORA together).

Sierra, as I suspected bfh, was using this originally to have 1 last good quality adventure together indeed. However, as the game went on, not just most people ignored her as a potential threat, but she herself too was unaware of how much of a HUGE threat she (the good girl/twin) could be in front of a Jury (just trying to focus on Friendships & whatnot). Sure, she was having some slow/boring moments along the way in the Pre-merge but, this merge had only Scrapped beneath the surface on what Sierra's True intention/motivation were entering this game. & it's only now THIS LATE/FAR into the game, that Sierra has begun to realize that this is the BIG turning point for her to be a real contender (even if it took her Twin Thorne getting wasted to finally Awaken her understanding of her position). Overall, Sierra not only got the Growth we all FINALLY waiting so LONG to see here, but that also she gets that Elusive 1 MOMENT she only ever WANTED to have w/ her Imprisoned Twin Sister (Quality time especially).

Regardless, this Reward (while a bit repetitive indeed w/ Sierra winning them a lot for not) is EXACTLY what both Sisters NEEDED to have happen, so that Thorne could finally get everything OFF her chest that held her back, & that Sierra could get that TRUE piece of mind that the old Lolita is still ALIVE from w/in. But the best part is that...*sniff* I was correct at long LAST about both Sisters, w/ Thorne showing that she Truly DOES care for her Twin, & Sierra being a Truly Innocent ANGEL that CAN still do well/win maybe for the both of them. ^_^;

In a messed up way, this is the sweetest Thorne has ever been in this comic.

Reply Djoing, July 10th, 2017, 3:36 am

Is this setting up Sierra being voted out?

Reply Guest, July 10th, 2017, 7:47 am

@Djoing: Thorne, not Sierra.

Reply DryIceBros, July 10th, 2017, 8:26 am

So, does this mean Thorne did get a redemption?

Reply Sonofhades, July 10th, 2017, 9:37 am

Yeah, Thorne's going this episode. That was a sweet moment, but it was laden with soooo many boot flags. Besides, why does Thorne think Sierra has a chance with the Jury? On one hand, the dominant alliance are mostly jerks, but on the other hand, Sierra hasn't done anything other than wring her hands and switch sides constantly. They can use that against her.

Reply SkySurfer, July 10th, 2017, 3:58 pm

Well, it's not like there weren't hints already that Thorne cares much more about Sierra. There was only that fear of losing her face which was pretty much taken away by the wine.

This sounds like a Thorne boot but I personally hope this ends like Vinnie's story as the caring father. He as well entered for someone else and he's still here

Reply qazox, July 11th, 2017, 10:33 am

still say Thorne covered for Sierra killing their abusive daddy....
