I guess the Galaxie Tribe wasn't With Her. Sarah, aka Bonnie is eliminated.

Originally I had no plans of bringing Bonnie back, however, as the season began to take shape, and I saw potential storylines that were arising. I had two options, either have a loved one be exactly what Bonnie was. Have a hidden Identity that would be discovered..... or bring the actual Bonnie back. In the end, it just made more sense to bring her back. Initially I was going to have her fall much earlier, and be discovered instantly after the swap in Episode 3, but I decided against it because there was no way everything could be uncovered that fast, and after the reveal, cutting her that soon would have been a waste. So I ended up swapping her and Rosella in the Boot order, and I think it worked better in the end.

Now as to her character this time, I mentioned it slightly in Clydia's writeup, but with everyone expecting her to play like SFC10 again. It made so much sense to have her put on the Sarah Persona and give her some deviousness, have her play a little bit more low key of a game like with Prescilla. (However she was still one of the key figures in the Iyzebel Ejection) She was meant to be playing a solid game, being low key like she planned, until she got too nervous about Scott and blindsided him, which was truly the beginning of the end for her. Kept people in who were suspicious of everything, and raised red flags for people who weren't looking before. However, as she learned, once the Prescilla act was done successfully, it was a cat she was no longer able to keep in the bag. Everyone would be on the lookout for it in a later season. Brandi and Thorne are lucky they got her out when they did before any massive damage was done.

Your'e not better Bonnie. You just a massive jerk that is only good at manipulation and you are not even good at that anymore.

Reply SWSU-Master, May 13th, 2017, 10:22 pm

@rac567: She's good when people aren't suspecting anything.

Wow. After 6 years and two seasons of misery, Bonnie Quinn has FINALLY been voted out when she needed to be. Not somehow sneaked her way to the final 3. Not get dragged along by a bunch of idiotic "all-stars" that couldn't play a good game if it bit them in the face and only being eliminated by a dumbass jock who practically threw his game away doing it. She was voted out when she deserved to be, at long last. And...I feel apathy. That's kinda it. I kinda wanted to feel MORE, but I can't. It just feels anticlimactic. It only happened with four pointless players with her (Thorne, Vinnie, Brandi, Bradley), it happened out of nowhere pretty much, and even if I hated Bonnie a lot for how she was...I can't find much excitement in this. Am I glad to see her leave pre-merge? Definitely. Do I feel this was the season to do it? No. Bonnie actually started off reasonably well here, and only suddenly did she start becoming nasty out of nowhere again. Up until making up the story about her fake dead mother, she really didn't do anything to make me hate her. So it just came out of nowhere. Like this result came out of nowhere. So...good, the queen of misery and discord is finally gone...and I don't care. Kinda reminds me of one of my favorite songs: "It's The End Of The World As We Know It", particularly for the line: "It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine." It is what it is.

@Tailslover13: Another out in the Hate Category. I can't complain

Reply Tailslover13, May 13th, 2017, 10:24 pm

@SWSU-Master: So there are effectively 9 characters I like, 8 that I hate, and three that can either go up or down depending on what they do from here on out. So, almost an even split. Shocking.

Reply GaryHawkinsLandscaper, May 13th, 2017, 10:30 pm

@Tailslover13: That's great. It starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes and aeroplanes. And Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

Ding dong, the bitch is out. Which old bitch? Bonnie, she's really f***ing gone!

@SWSU-Master: Nice to see Bonnie eliminated earlier then her last Survivor seasons instead of constantly managing to survive until the final three.

@rac567: I couldnt pull the same trick 3 times

*Has flashbacks to the 3rd Trial*

Well, this was super obvious, but not at all unpleasant. Glad to see Bonnie leave.

Reply Misterjakester (Guest), May 13th, 2017, 10:13 pm

@ChronoAlone: unlike Celestia however, Bonnie doesn't even try to go out with dignity

Reply ChronoAlone, May 13th, 2017, 10:14 pm

@Misterjakester : Now we just need Monokuma to come in and say the infamous line and we'll all be good.

Got some serious Ace Attorney vibes from this one. Hooray for Stagg having a brain!

Bonnie, you won't be missed. If you ever pull a Boston Rob/Rupert, i'm done with this comic.

@Blastoise_FTW: I kinda want to call your bluff....

Reply Floorman (Guest), May 13th, 2017, 10:09 pm

Ding Dong the witch is dead.

It's not just me, right? Every time I see Bonnie have a downfall, I'm just so filled with joy and good feelings. Also, this tribal council was like the end of a Phoenix Wright case. Everything just fell into place and they got the culprit.

Also, I'll admit that the comment about "I can't even use any racial slurs because they were all white people" Had me cracking up far more than I should have.

Now....As for next time....Well, a tribe swap explains how Kinopio is going to lose people before the merge.

No clue who the stranded survivor is. Maybe Riley? Just a guess though. And then T goes because he's not around? Total speculation, though.

Someone's resolve? Hmm...Potentially Vinnie or Bowser Junior, but I think it's more likely to be Damon. I just feel like he's gonna question something that his Bro did and get depressed. Or, well, whatever that emotion looks like for Damon.

I dunno. None of these seem easy to predict this time.

Reply SWSU-Master, May 13th, 2017, 10:25 pm

@Floorman: Alot happens next episode. Gonna be a big one

Reply dat4yc, May 13th, 2017, 10:12 pm

Yeeeeeeeee haw!!!!! Bye bitch see ya never!

Yeah that was pretty great, glad she didn't overstay her welcome this time. I'm really happy with Bonnie's arc this season, she stayed for a bit, did some damage, and was found out and left before it got too stale.

Going into the final swap before the merge, I really have no idea what's gonna happen and who's gonna be the last couple pre-merge vote offs. As for the person who questions their resolve, I'm guessing that's probably Lake? He seemed pretty down on himself and his position this episode.

Riley > Brandi > Bowser Jr. > Vinnie > Bradley > Thorne > Tialayla > Damon > Doris > Sierra > Eli > Lake > Angelo

P.S: Vinnie assuming that Rosella was the other contestant to leave before getting their torch snuffed was hilarious XD

Reply SWSU-Master, May 13th, 2017, 10:27 pm

@dat4yc: It seemed like a good thing to bring up at the end lol

Reply GaryHawkinsLandscaper, May 13th, 2017, 10:27 pm

Pitiful Therapist Remember episode two, where we all thought Bonnie had gotten tame? We were dumbasses.

Sarah!Bonnie was my favorite Bonnie. I know, I know, you all think I'm saying that because we had much less of her this season. And that is absolutely true. Not only did she not make the halfway point, but darling Skippy Peanut Butter actually decided to focus on some other people for a change. You deserve a paycheck, dude.

It's all downhill from here.

Brandi and Thorne are gonna GO FOR IT! CONNECT FOOOOOUR! It's so heartwarming to know there's at least one person associated with SFC that knows how to think logically! I mean, not better than me, of course. Everybody always calls on me to make decisions for them, 'cause I'm a god of logic.

Yeah, no real surprise there. Not to say it wasn't EXTREMELY satisfying watching this happen over 20 days sooner than the previous two times. And as expected, it was very entertaining watching Bonnie be put on trial by the cop and the con. And even Vinnie chimed in for good measure. Speaking of which, Vinnie's game is REALLY hard to get a read on this season ever since his daughter's departure....

As for moving forward, wow, is it already time for a second tribal swap? Can't wait to see how that turns out. Particularly interested to see Lake's reunion with Vinnie...

One unlucky Survivor is now alone? I really can't see this being anyone but T. It's ALWAYS T. Or it might be her Riley this time just to have her luck rub off on him. Either way, they're so being separated and one of them will be left with no allies after this.

And a survivor's resolve? Possible candidates are Vinnie, Lake, and maybe Bowser Jr, in that order of likeliness. Although I don't expect anyone to quit over it.....again.

Really looking forward to this next episode~

@anime9001: Vinnie is just lying in wait for now.... waiting for the perfect chance.....

Reply Smasher 101, May 13th, 2017, 10:36 pm

No surprises, but still satisfying all the same. This was probably the version of Bonnie I liked the most. Partly because she didn't really start to become insufferable until towards the end, partly because she left early this time instead of wearing out her welcome. Still glad she's out.

Ranking the fallen:

1. Bowser
2. Scott
3. Cassidy
4. Iyzebel
5. Clydia
6. Bonnie
7. Rosella

May or may not do reasons on the first six, probably not because effort. But the only one eliminated thus far that I really liked was Bowser, anyway.

@Smasher 101: GJ Bonnie on not finishing last!

Reply Zentillion (Guest), May 13th, 2017, 10:40 pm

And as such, the saga of Bonnie Quinn ended for the third and final time. Terrible person. A bitch, a cad, terrible ideals, prejudices up the wazoo, some one if I ever met IRL I'd sock right in the face, but as a fictional work villain...

And she a good knack of manipulation that just was destined to fail this time. I honestly don't know if I like her performance here or 9 better, though...

Reply SWSU-Master, May 13th, 2017, 11:00 pm

@Zentillion: Well 9's was more successful, but this was an expedited version.

Reply RedBeryl, May 13th, 2017, 10:41 pm

Let this be a lesson: If you make a fake persona, make sure you know all the details front-to-back. Even little stuff like "Your mother's maiden name". Bonnie is cunning and sneaky... but in the end, she got sloppy.

Now.... hopefully this is the LAST time we see Bonnie. I won't hold my breathe over it, though. Her last words make me think, though: The only one that made it to the Finals before left in the game is Eli. ...Technically, it's still possible that he could do just that, just to make Bonnie eat her words.

Preview time~

~Tribe Swap, Part 2! Always fun for another shake-up. There's a lot of threads that need more exploring.

~One Unlucky Castaway! That could be anyone. Personally, I'm thinking it's Riley.

~A Castaway's Resolve is in Doubt? Really? It could be Vinnie. Hearing about his daughter walk out of Tribal Council is pretty miserable, especially after seeing Bonnie do the same thing. Sort of a metaphor or something that he could be raising the next Bonnie.

Hm... Well, my Endgame picks are mostly intact (having JUST lost Bonnie!Sarah, although I picked her before the reveal) leaving only Bradley, Thorne and Vinnie. Thorne's probably the one that has the best odds right now. :3

Reply SWSU-Master, May 13th, 2017, 11:01 pm

@RedBeryl: She improvised a lie and didn't have the info to back up the lie

Reply lstaff4, May 13th, 2017, 10:49 pm

And the camera hog loses the limelight for the (hopefully, you crafty bastard) last time.

I think this is how Bonnie should've been handled in SFC10. Not the disguise thing, mind you, but her being eliminated early on, flipping everyone off on her way out. While I don't think anyone was happy to see her back, I think she was handled better this time around. Good show, SWSU. Jolly good show.

Reply SWSU-Master, May 13th, 2017, 11:02 pm

@lstaff4: Thank you :)

Reply Congo, May 13th, 2017, 11:48 pm

bonnie sure has a thing for turning TC into ace attorney breakdown scenes, doesn't she? i expected this outcome, but i can't say it wasn't satisfying!

i wonder if bonnie could have played this season better? maybe lay off the "super nice girl" shtick, though i'm not sure what that would have been like. maybe she only knows how to play prescilla.

next episode... another survivor's resolve is questioned? no way is lake going to be a quitter, but he was the only one who seems like he'd fit the bill at the moment.

Reply SkySurfer, May 14th, 2017, 6:28 am

They didn't pick her alibi to pieces, they literally tattered it.

Bonnie's idea wasn't stupid in the beginning because letting someone else take the first hit was quite clever. However she counted too much on the others having prejudices. Even though her downfall was settled when ending in a tribe full of returnees, even someone like Scott proved her disguise wasn't perfect. I'm glad they got rid of her at this point.

Now who might be the unlucky survivor? Maybe it's Riley who ends up in another tribe with Galaxie and Sarasa members who don't know about his secret? This would probably be much more dramatic than Tialayla.

As for the resolve. It pretty much sounds like Vinnie or Lake but I doubt any of the remaining survivors would quit at this point. They all got enough willpower.

Reply Sonofhades, May 14th, 2017, 9:41 am

Holy crap, Bonnie is finally gone! She's finally gone when she deserves to be. Brandi's redemption arc is in full swing, Bradley is just as reasonable as I thought he would be, and Vinnie turns out to have a realistic assessment of Rosella. This was a predictable Tribal Council, but it was a fantastic one. Now I'm wondering whose resolve is wavering at this point. Probably Lake, honestly. If he quits, that would prove excellent motivation for Brandi's continuing redemption arc.
