Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
Well at the very least he has an Idol.
Man, the more Vinnie talks about his daughter, the more I fear what his reaction will be when he sees what's happened.
Also, lol at Bonnie being someone's bitch. Feels good, doesn't it?
MIPS! THAT LITTLE SHITFUCK!!
So far we've had a P Switch Puzzle from World and the Rabbit Chase from 64, what's next? Sunshine Lillypads? That Idol would not be played.
That's what you GET, Bonnie. Enjoy suffering.
Vinnie's gonna be PISSED.
Jesus Christ the next challenge is going to be legendary. The build up better be worth it.
In other news, Scott thinks he is hot shit, when he is not, in fact, hot shit
Every time Vinnie talks about Rosella this episode I just try to imagine his look of fury once it's revealed she's been voted out.
Scott's really overestimating his social skills and it's pretty clear that neither Brandi nor Thorne are taking any of it. I'm enjoying seeing Bonnie forced to go along with his shenanigans, though.
I feel kinda bad for Vinnie. All he wanted was to be a good dad.
Well Scott's being a little shit but at least Bonnie is feeling the heat because of him.
Also, YES VINNIE GOT AN IDOL. But the build up of him finding out Rosella is gone is getting more and more intense and I'm getting scared of what his reaction will be O_O
So far two of my favorite SFC players have idols this season, so I'd say things are going pretty good!
Poor Vinnie. He's going to be crushed. And then he's going to be livid.
Question is, what will he do with the idol after he finds out? Help Thorne after all and get his revenge? Or something different but to similar effect...?
I hated that dang rabbit
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Brandi's fucked if her tribe loses immunity. Vinnie is going to gun for her, as well as Thorne, and if Brad doesn't play his idol on Brandi, there is a very good opportunity that she will go.
Whelp. On the bright side, at least Rosella got voted out early :d
the suspense with vinnie is killing me! i guess he might be angry enough to idol out brandi? that would stink. i like brandi :(
c'mon, scott. "sarah" is a therapist, so she's probably heard some pretty harsh things in her line of work. some swears aren't gonna hurt li'l ol' her. unless it's the whole "barbie" thing? in theory, she should be as g-rated as bowser, but...
Oh, Vinnie. A doting father's love is wondrous to behold.
...He is gonna be so pissed.
Well Vinnie, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is you got an idol :D
The bad news is....I don't think your daughter is in the best...."condition" to use it.
Thorne's not falling for it. I'm not surprised. It's actually pretty hilarious to see Bonnie at Scott's beck and call at this point, but she is going to wreak vengeance upon him soon enough. Maybe Izy will make it to the merge after all and snap when she sees that Scott's just been voted off. I know Vinnie's going to snap as soon as he realizes that idol's never going to his darling daughter.
I have no idea what the bunny is a reference to, but...well, you're REALLY building up this "Vinnie is in for a shock" thing. Also, Scott REALLY sucks; can he please get the Sarah treatment from Cagayan and get booted when this team loses for obviously playing the middle? Please?
@Tailslover13: Super Mario 64 (and 64 DS). In the original there's one running around the basement that if you catch it you get a star. Might be a second one in the first one as well, but I forget.
In the DS version there's, like, 20 of them in the game in various locations and each one unlocks a new minigame.
Basically, they're just known for being REALLY annoying to catch....was nice to see them referenced here though.
@anime9001: Oh. Well, that's fair. If this was Final Fantasy or Pokemon or possibly Sonic, I'd likely know more of the references. I love Super Mario World, but other than that, I'm not a big expert on the series. Heh.
I really hope we see a returner go this round. So far it's been three "loved" ones (well less so in Clydia and Bonnie's case....) that seem to have been put in the game as a way to bring back big players. Huh, now that I look at it...it's all been female loved ones, too. Maybe that means things aren't looking good for Bowser, Bradley, Vinnie or Eli this round? (Or Damon but....Oh I hope not Damon.)
You know, I want to think that Vinnie's playing the audience. I mean, he seems like the kind of guy who would do that. If he genuinely believes Rosella has a chance at making it far without his help, well... he's a moron. He couldn't not notice that his daughter did absolutely nothing in the last challenge, so while he's gloating about how he and Rosella are going to make it to the end, I think that deep inside, he already knows she's gone.
For what it's worth, I'm prepared to be proven wrong next chapter. I really hope he's not this delusional.
I love how Bonnie is basically forced to be Scott's yes man here. He's blackmailing her and I'm certain he doesn't even know the full truth.
Also....Vinnie's a ticking time bomb now. I'm scared for Brandi's life in the game. And in reality, a little. I don't want her to go after seeing how much good character development she's recieved.
Scott is juggling with hot coals here but hey, I didn't expect to be a saint anyway and he lacks the experience the rest of his tribe has. It should be interesting to see how long Bonnie will bear being Scott's "follower"
Vinnie's rage in this comic is only a foretaste of what is to come. I remember how much I hated that yellow rabbit myself when I played SM64 for the first time but I doubt this can be compared to the upcoming immunity comic. Why, just why did Vinnie have to waste so much parental love on such a daughter...
