Well at least Tialayla is back in familiar territory.
Time to see if cats really do have nine lives. Tia's gonna need as many of them as she can use.
Goddammit. Great. Tialayla is back to her awful SFC11 self, SFC11 Cheating Satan Spawn is as despicable as always, Lewis called the anthros "animals", Rosella is simply existing, and Sierra continues to suck as a cliche sibling. Riley is the only good one here, and I hope he doesn't leave first. Please save the pitiful wolf!
@Tailslover13: Sierra's not that bad honestly... neither are Tialayla or Eli.
Also anthros, animals... does it matter what they're called? I mean, as long as it's not something racist like "sub human".
@Guest: First off, it would be like calling African-Americans "black people". It's not THAT racist, but it's still kinda a mean thing to say. As a furry myself (and proud of it), I don't appreciate someone calling anthro furries "animals". It's just derogatory.
Sierra is just too dull. We've had siblings three times before (Kris/Chris, Rebecca/Julia, Liz/Jojo), and it's just worn out its welcome by this point. Sierra is just too simple and there's nothing interesting about her. And, I like Tialayla, but I just don't want her to start moping around and bitching about how she's at the bottom again, because that's ALL she did in SFC11 and it got annoying. If you're an underdog, we'll pull for you...but stop hammering it home about how miserable you are; it's annoying. And...I'm not gonna get into SFC11 Cheating Satan Spawn. My hatred for him is...personal.
So, yeah, that's what I have to say. I hope none of this comes across as me yelling at you; it's just me explaining myself.
@Tailslover13: "First off, it would be like calling African-Americans "black people". It's not THAT racist, but it's still kinda a mean thing to say. As a furry myself (and proud of it), I don't appreciate someone calling anthro furries "animals". It's just derogatory."
Common misconception. But black people is actually the more accepted term globally and growing as such in the US because many black people don't have links to Africa. Not to mention the fact that there are black people outside of the US. Using the term isn't any more racist than saying "white people."
Also furry is an internet subculture and it's hardly derogatory to refer to them as "animals" especially given that Lake is from a series very similar to reality, set in modern Earth with the only real difference being characters, with only humans etc. you can't exactly link it to racism.
And yes we all know why you hate Eli, it's because he took out your own character in SFC11, please get over it. It was 4 years ago.
I'm really not trying to be rude here but your constant negativity is getting trite.
@Guest: You know what? Go fuck yourself. I'm sick and tired of being told to stop being negative. Seriously, FUCK OFF! I'm sick and tired of assholes like you harassing me and trying to tell me how to talk.
LOL at Eli using ''Trope''
Mystery: Riley is secretly gay and Tia is his Beard? Come on, you know it's likely.
Comparing this to other Tribes.. I think we got a Matsing a' comin
A little surprised that Eli and Sierra went with Lake so easily. Either way, I'm pretty sure they're going to be the split vote if this comic had anything to do with it.
Past that, I'm....PRETTY sure the only thing Riley was hiding was the idol....that he doesn't have. So he just kinda painted a target on himself. But hey, at least T is back in the game that she's used to.
I kinda hope Tia doesn't last as long as she did in SFC11. It would kind of just doing the same thing over again, and from what I've seen that isn't what SWSU does with returning characters. Unless you count Bonnie. Then that's nearly spot on.
The real mystery????
Why doesn't Lake just shave the rest of his head, cause when you that bald, just admit it and go full Kojak.
Oh God, What Have I Done?
Well, so far Rosella's at her best when she's motionless. I'm hoping Riley gets past the target he has on his back. I feel like he has room for development (maybe growing a backbone or some other story arc), although there is the possibility of his timidness biting him in the butt and sending him packing. I can't imagine a reason for Sierra and Eli to go, and I think it's safe to assume Brandi's going to be connected to Lake's elimination somehow. This could be achieved despite them being on different tribes, but I feel like it'd work better if they were playing together when it happens. Tialayla seems to be in a good spot despite being stuck on the bottom with Riley. In other words, if they go to tribal, I'm rooting for Rosella to go home. Big shocker. Perhaps her elimination could light a fire in Vinnie leading to him going a rampage and ramping up this season in many ways. It's unlikely all of my hopes will be achieved, if any of them will, but I can dream. (It's funny how until yesterday I rarely commented on these posts because I didn't think I had anything to bring to the table and now I'm writing excessively long comments about the tribe dynamics, even though I only have the tribe reveal and one comic to base my thoughts on.)
Well, if this tribe loses, I can really only see T or Riley going. I feel like there's still a story with Lake, and I really hope there's some sort of story with Rosella, otherwise she deserves to go home. And I don't really think Eli or Sierra are at risk here. So....Here's hoping this team wins immunity? Somehow.
Well, things aren't lookin' good for the two anthros. No numbers, no idol, *almost* no hope. It's either gonna be Riley or Rosella to go first on this tribe.
That being said, I'm not 100% sure either of them are screwed. Vinnie might weasel some way to help Rosella indirectly, like throwing a challenge. Riley might prove helpful to Lake with his videogame-knowledge (unless Bowser did his job *too* well). And Lake could shoot himself in the foot over something. Still, those are pretty big "ifs".
This tribe had better not lose because I don't see how Riley gets out of this if they do...
Tialayla and Riley need to stay. Rosella, do something to destroy your game.
@lrodnelson32: Why? Doing nothing seems to be working just fine in destroying her game as it is?
Figures we start with the disaster tribe. Probably best not to get too invested with these people; they might not be around for much longer.
lolyup time for SWSU to piss off all the readers and get rid of Riley before Rosella and Lake.
Also did Eli go through some OOC? There's no way in hell he believes Riley is suspicious if he can just read the edit and realize he's got nothing to hide.
Plot inconvenience SWSU style
@Guest: Well, SWSU replied to me the other day when I mentioned Eli possibly knowing Bonnie's identity he mentioned that Eli only sees other tribes' edits at immunity challenges as that's the only time he's with them. Or something like that. Kinda oddly specific, but that would mean that Eli knows basically nothing about Riley besides his edit of this specific comic.
Also, if we're being fair, the examples he gave were all things that the "edit" gave absolutely no clues for in the earlier stages of the game. Especially Alleio. So these are things that Eli actually wouldn't have a clear view on. Like, if Eli was in SFC 13, he probably would have never known about Alleio's insanity either until it was basically revealed to us as well. TECHNICALLY, all this means that Riley may genuinely have something to hide that all of us would be unaware of because he's being written in a way that we'd never suspect it, but....I'm pretty sure that's just Eli overthinking things (and me over-elaborating things, while we're at it).
Last night I said this Tribe was getting Matsinged.. And it all makes sense to me. They lose the next 4 Immunity challenges. Bowser Jr. even forshadowed things in episode 1 with ''I wanna win everything'' comment. Sarasa ain't gonna lose anything.
As for Galaxie, Stagg is enough to carry them on his own despite the disadvantage. Tialayla MIGHT be able to do the same for Kinopio, but she has to deal with two things Stagg doesn't. TWO peaces of pure deadweight. Riley and Rosella.
Rosella leaves this episode, with Lake finally getting fed up with her bullshit.
Then Riley leaves next episode. I've decided that Eli's whole ''mystery'' thing is a red herring. Sarah being the real Bonnie was this season's epic reveal.
Then Tialayla, being the next lowest on the Totem pole.
And then Lake takes out Eli because of his Editing powers being a huge threat.
Swap into two tribes of 7, Vinnie lands on the same tribe as Lake and enacts revenge for his daughter. Sierra is the only member of NuKinopio to make merge.
I'm getting WAY ahead of myself, aren't I?
Lake didn't give Riley a serious chance to introduce himself so his judgement is quite unfair. Not that I am surprised...
I knew T wouldn't approve that Riley let Bradley take the idol but hey, I wouldn't be so sure if Eli intends to stay in Lake's alliance. He already ruined Crisco's game before the merge, he might as well repeat that with a certain investigator.
