Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
Not exactly a Big Move, but it was a Move nonetheless. Cassidy is headed home.
When I'm working on SFC seasons. There always have to be 2-3 characters that leave early, and can have a simple justification on why they leave, and Eli's loved one was a perfect option for an Early Boot. Nice Girl, but completely out of her league.
I wasn't really going for a "TAKE THAT!" At the casual Survivor fanbase, since as I just said, she is a nice person, and her elimination was strictly due to her overplaying and freaking out. The reason I did have her like this, was if I brought back Eli for Blood vs Water. Someone who is a diehard Meta Fan. How could I NOT bring his loved one in and have them be the EXACT opposite of Eli. As for the rest. I'm glad that she brought some humor and trainwreck drama into the season before her early departure. Because if they leave early, they can at least be an entertaining mess.
And nothing of value was lost.
But now we're gonna have three tribes to watch, so I'm looking forward to what that brings.
@ChronoAlone: It'll shake up some of the relationships, split some up, put others in the spotlight. We shall see~
Predictable elimination is predictable. I'm sorry, but I just don't agree with this at all. SWSU has a pretty big fan-base, all things considered, so this just seems like a cop-out to me. "Hey, let's create a one-note character designed to be eliminated early with clear flaws while at the same time taking a shot at modern Survivor and things I hate! Brilliant!" That is honestly just lazy. Here's a better idea: why not make Cassidy actually savvy at the game and be opposite Eli, who only worries about the stupid edit and 4th wall and all that? A better scenario would've been for Cassidy to make a fake idol and make up an elaborate way on how she found it, and turn tribal council into chaos. Vinnie can say that his alliance will just split the vote 4-4 between herself and Eli then, to which Cassidy and Eli then beg Thorne and Sierra to join them and not just be at the bottom of an obvious alliance of six. It works, and it ends up being a 4-3-3 vote, with Vinnie being shockingly eliminated as Thorne and Sierra join Eli and Cassidy and Cassidy fooling them to split the vote actually working. Instead of Eli doing a bunch of unfunny, cheating bullshit, and instead of a predictable, one-note character being predictably eliminated early, you need to switch it up! I mean, I love Vinnie, but this at least would've been a much more entertaining scenario than what we got. It really just feels like SWSU made Cassidy just to bring his precious Eli back, which is pathetic. As it is, I can't REALLY hate Cassidy other than her moment of making fun of Adam/Jeremy, but it's just really disappointing. Even if the characters that get eliminated very early are "created" just to be early eliminations, you should STILL try to make them interesting or have some depth!

20. Eli (Despise)
@Tailslover13: I wonder if Eli will ever be able to make it out of last place
@SWSU-Master: Nope. Thorne could kill Bowser or Bradley, Lewis could assault his own daughter, and Iyzebel could turn into Satan himself and annihilate everyone in the show and that little puke stain would STILL be dead last for me.
@Tailslover13: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is post-traumatic.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Don't make me have to slap you with a wet noodle.
@Tailslover13: (*doggie head tilt*)
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: BAD BOY, JUDAI! YOU MUST BE PUNISHED! *pummels you with a wet noodle* No dinner for you! Now go back and re-read SFC1 with all its awful sprites and writing...for an entire day! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Thank you so much SWSU. It seemed pretty obvious that she was early boot fodder from the beginning, but I can't help but worry. Peace out Cassidy, you were a nice girl but annoying af!
Looking forward to the three tribe split, should really screw things up, especially for the dads and kids alliance. I do love most of that alliance except for Lake and Rosella, but it's nice to see when a powerful dominating alliance is given a shake-up.
Also I'm assuming that one of the loved ones that crumbles is gonna be Rosella, which I am oh so looking forward to XD
Riley > Vinnie > Bowser > Bradley > Doris > Bowser Jr. > Brandi > Thorne > Damon > Angelo > Scott > Eli > Tialayla > Iyzebel > Sierra > Bonnie > Lake > Rosella
@dat4yc: Rosella needs to hope that Vinnie stays with her.... Since he kept her from being a target this round.
what a robbed goddess :( I was CONVINCED she was winning...
@rip kween goddessa: She won your heart though <3
Yeah, this really couldn't have gone any other way. And out of plausible people leaving, there's really not much to be upset about. Only person who I felt brought less to this tribe is Rosella, and....well, she's not going anywhere yet.
On a side note, that shade Jeff threw at Bowser Jr. out of nowhere. "Bowser Jr. Was that passive insult towards you?" Like, really Jeff? Haha.....
That being said, the most interesting development from this tribal is honestly the episode 3 tribal swap. This is REALLY going to mix things up. This is when I'd voice my hopes of Eli getting into a better spot with this swap, but....it wouldn't be Eli if he wasn't the eternal underdog, so I doubt it.
@anime9001: Who knows, maybe its time for something new with Eli :O
@anime9001: Eli was the head of the majority throughout the entire post merge of SFC11
Despite my general distaste for the archetype, I try not to get too mad at characters that are basically just one joke, and even though Cassidy isn't really a joke character, I got tired of her schtick very quickly. I keep going back and forth on whether I find Eli tolerable or not, but Cassidy felt like all of Eli's annoying bits from Season 11 compressed into two episodes. Oh, and as we've just witnessed, having a completely different understanding of Survivor. Even so, I can't really get too mad at a superfan, but I think it's better that Cassidy's gone.
Now if we could only get some Rosella character development, everything will be just right.
5. Bowser Jr.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Maybe we'll see some Rosella action very soon....
An early shake-up will be good. And it'll keep ''Bonnie'' UTR for a few more days....
@qazox: Unless she goes to Tribal Council
Thorne is still alive, and that's enough for me. Shame about Cassidy, though. Oddly enough, I have a sneaking suspicion that Rosella is gonna last a lot longer than most others. I hope it's just a gut feeling.
--SWAP! Everyone gets split? Alliances shattered? Chaos reigns over all? EXCITEMENT!
--Stranded alone with adversaries... It can only be Thorne. Or maybe Iyzebel stuck with the Muscle Bros, but I'd assume Thorne.
--Three Tribes divided by six? THAT spells bad news for a lot of people. Thorne, Bonnie!Sarah, and Eli to name a few. Them swaps really shake up the dynamics.
@RedBeryl: Would Rosella lasting longer be a good thing or a bad thing though?
Welp, bye Cassidy. I can't say I didn't see this coming. I mean, as people are saying....There's no big loss here.
So really, there were no big moves. I guess this had to happen if Thorne was to make it further into the game.
@Floorman: Well Cassidy was fat, so it's a bit of a BIG loss.... lol
i liked cassidy more than i thought i would, even though she didn't really do all that much. she was forever destined to be an early boot! can't feel good to get voted off over a convict. ouch.
i wonder who's all alone in the swap? the wording is "adversaries", rather than simply being on the wrong side of the numbers, so it makes me think it'll be someone who's normally abrasive. it's rosella! thorne?
@Congo: When you play like she did. You can take the target from anyone and put it on yourself
& just like that, it's TIME to take out the trash, & get to the REAL fun indeed; the SWAP! & it's not just ANY swap, but the 1st EVER "Triple Twist" for SFC to witness indeed! (side note, this twist was 1st DONE by a VERY avid certain fan here, bf ANYONE else did bfh) ;)
Anyhow, Cassidy, like Clydia bfh, was ONLY made to not only allow their RT partner to return, but that also there was no REAL purpose for either of the 1st 2 boots overall (especially given that they only served at BEST as distractions). But either way, the REAL Fun will FINALLY begin, & w/ 3 SMALL tribes of 6 compared to 2 BIG tribes of 9-10 each, definitely means that EVERY moment counts for ALL 6 to contribute (or else have NOWHERE to run/hide afterwards).
Overall, I'm kinda glad that I CALLED it during Preseason, that Cassidy was GOING to be indeed 2nd Boot, as I figured she was someone that did NOT have any real affect for this season. & w/ that, I bid you fellow people ado, & hope to see some like Thorne/Sierra Finally get some BREATHING room to play anew! ^_^
@Guest: BTW, this is me Yumichika Time, but I forgot to log in bfh, sorry.
@Guest: You sure as heck didnt call Clydia, but I'll give you credit on Cassidy
I really don't have much to comment on, I expected her boot the moment Brandi spilled the proverbial beans.
As for the three tribe thing... I'm hoping Lake gets kicked into a different tribe and gets booted immediately. Oh well, a man can dream.
@lstaff4: Getting swapfucked is something that can happen to anyone....
Meh. Her boot was really telegraphed, honestly. Nice girl, but obvious first boot fodder. What I'm more interested in is the obvious lines drawn in this tribe. Nobody's making any effort to conceal their opinions on any other tribe members. It's refreshing, honestly. Nice to see that the tribe shares our feelings on Rosella.
@Sonofhades: Yeah, it was fairly obvious. This was more about establishing longer stories and ending with an obvious boot.
FUCKING. NAILED. IT.
Cassidy was meh. I hate to say it, but I think SWSU is lying through his teeth when he says she wasn't made to mock the casual fanbase. She most certainly was.
Cambodia Swap! This must be where Rosella gets some character development. Or gets the boot. Hopefully the latter.
@Blastoise_FTW: She was meant to represent them in the story since Eli is the Meta/Hardcore fan. It's a balance thing
She should be thankful. Now Cassidy knows that blindsides aren't as cool as she expected. She wasn't annoying but pretty much unimportant and except for her idea to boot Lake she had little screentime. I guess it won't take me too long to forget about her.
So looking forward to the three tribes although it sure comes at an early point of the game. I hope this helps some survivors with the character development, especially Rosella for obvious reasons.
@SkySurfer: She might have a big episode coming up....
