Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
And with Jeff Phasing out of the Island. All that's left is to see who wins.
I will be surprised if Dustin gets a single vote.
9-0 vote confirmed. Thankfully, no one else decided to be an idiot that night.
Should I just go ahead and do my Dustin elimination thing a day early? Or should I just wait and do both of them tomorrow?
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Do both tomorrow. I mean, the only way Dustin could win is if Taro spontaneously bursts into flames, but I say you go through things normally.
I knew Jeff was a ghost! There's no way someone can still be alive after doing this show for a decade.
No votes shown = unanimous vote.
@Vilecheese: Unanimous indeed. Like I said before, I'd be surprised if he even got a single vote. But since this is the first time votes haven't been shown, it does seem to heavily imply Taro wins flawlessly.
@Guest: First time since SFC4, actually. They didn't show votes in their finale either.
@Guest: Ah yes, now I recall that. It's been a while since I've reviewed SFC4. I'll have to go over the series again at some point.
I am almost 100% sure it's an unanimous vote. Unless I'm mistaken, this would make Taro the first perfect winner.
Jeff is a ghost 2spooky4me
@Misterjakester: Yes, Taro would be the first winner to play a "Perfect Game".
Since no votes were shown, its becoming more and more likely that this was unanimous. Also, didnt know that Jeff was part of the supers tribe.
#facepalm. Just be quiet Dustin.
As always for SFC final votes, Jeff sure knows how to make a grand, exciting exit.
Who will win? It's a no-brainer that it's not a no-brainer.
It's been proven that there's no good way to handle a unanimous jury vote. XD
@DryIceBros: This is true. But, let's just wait another day to see it for ourselves. XD
One more day.....
And then it's back to hiatus :S
Also, one of these times I'm expecting everyone to be like "so what?" when Jeff does his crazy exit. I mean, he does one every season, you'd think they'd be expecting it by now :p
Just as the others already have pointed out: The fact that none of the voting cards were revealed as usual improves the chances for a 9-0 a lot.
That pleases me. However I don't like it so much that tomorrow marks the end of the current season with Nr. 2250. It never ceases to amaze me how much time SWSU has put into this webcomic by now.
I think Taro's about to take the title of the first unanimous winner in SFC history. Good thing, too. Soon as Dustin opened his mouth last strip, it was all over but the screaming.
@Sonofhades: Unanimous, no. Perfect? Probably.
@DryIceBros: Right, I forgot about his prior tribal performance. He's about to pull a Cochran.
@Sonofhades: Barney was the first unanimous winner! SFC4, remember?
@Guest: Barney wasn't very memorable. But thank you for reminding me!
I know it's pretty obvious at this that Taro wins 9-0.
But can you imagine how hilarious and random it would be if Dustin got all 9 votes instead?
Actually it would suck, but it would remove the "obvious" factor.
@TJBambi93: If Dustin gets all 9 votes this season is worse 8 10 and 12 combined.
Jeff Probst confirmed alien? IDK.
No votes shown is strange.. Is SWSU hiding something?
@Blastoise_FTW: Votes weren't shown in SFC4, either!
@Guest: Another season with a big hairy guy vs a blonde that no one respects..
Gekkota: Votes based on results, not effort. Considering both of them succeeded in what they were trying to do (Taro with lying low and steering talks away from him; Dustin with being chill and having 'reliable allies')... I'd say Taro might squeak out a win here.
Cordelia: Voting based on her gut instinct. Kind of up in the air, but probably doesn't matter too much.
Zach: Has been waiting forever to write their name down. Dustin. He's a very strong opponent to face in challenges, even standing up against Supers. I guess Zach wants to give him a thumbs up.
Marie: Wants to vote both, but knows who to vote for. A bit of a toss-up, but leaning towards Taro. Her questions concerning the use of the prize money probably would make her vote for Taro, as he had a very specific reason in mind, whereas Dustin was vague and unspecific (and would probably fritter it away on questionable decisions...).
Brandi: Staying true to herself, she votes for the clear winner. Taro, considering her gameplay is generally very solid brainwork (bungled by shoddy evidence), she'll commend Taro's efforts handily. Dustin was considered by Brandi to be 'likable as a person, but disliked as a player', and a decent goat to take to the finals.
Leah: Not flipping a coin to decide her vote. Considering she said she had no sympathy for Dustin, I'm pretty sure she's voting Taro. Pretty sure.
Ky: The happiest vote! Taro, without a doubt.
Sylvia: Voting based on loyalty throughout the whole game. 95% sure she means Taro, who's been loyal to Ky all the way through. Dustin, while mostly loyal to Sylvia, goofed up a few times where he could've helped her out, not least of which was voting her out. Still, there's the possibility she still wants him to win over Taro, thereby winning over the Supers.
Shaega: Can he forgive Dustin or not? It's obvious to everyone that Taro played Dustin like a fiddle... except Dustin, naturally. He might forgive him for being the idiot that he is... or vote for Taro as revenge for backstabbing him. I'll lean towards Dustin, as Shaega was earning karma points for himself towards the end of the game, by realizing how jerkish some of his moves were.
So.... Taro has a commanding lead, but it's not going to be a landslide. Dustin has Zach and probably Shaega, but that's still 2-7... he might be able to turn Sylvia and maaaaaaaaaybe Cordelia and Gekkota out of luck for a 4-5, but that's very unlikely.
At least, that's how I read it. All that's left is for Jeff (and SWSU) to drag it out for the last comic.
