Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
And after all the chaos of the Tribal Council leading to several people switching votes, Leah is the one that leaves via rocks...
Leah was a character I really enjoyed using, I feel that when she was able to build a relationship, or dynamic with anyone she tended to make them better. Leah was that interesting type of character that she could play the Straight Man if Needed, and could play the Eccentric Character When needed, and right off that bat that pretty much ensured that she made the merge.
She might have been a little quiet in the final episodes, which is unfortunate, but especially in Episode 12 there was so much action going on and Leah was not one of the ones that was involved in much of it. But she had stayed steady in her story, working with Zach until he gets booted, then continuing her Feud with Sylvia, ending up reconciling and working together...... Then the two of them both fold at the worst time bringing them to rocks. Initially I had her leaving in a simple vote off, but when I was working around Episode 6 or so, I knew she had to leave via rock. How couldn't I do that? And Leah knew all too well what would happen if she let it go to that. And just think, if only she trusted rocks, she would be in the majority and not on the Jury.
But with that, we are down to Five and only One Episode Remaining.
Oh the irony.
@Sinjoh: I love it
Well, Im rather surprised in multiple ways. One, I was so certain that Ky was going home, and two, once it went to rocks, I was certain that Taro was fucked. But Leah is the casualty instead. Makes sense, considering her sudden spike in screen time. Doesn't effect me much, since I didnt care much about her one way or the other. Only problem is that now Ky and Taro are at a disadvantage. They can only hope that Shaega has now burned enough bridges so that they can slip through.
@DrMarble: I did love the "Obvious Ky Boot is Obvious" Majority. Should have listened to the "Obvious Leah Boot is Obvious" Minority
I...I just...I mean...WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?! Shaega threw his idol into the fire...we got to see angry Ky for the first time...Leah turned back into the cowardly bitch she always was...and Leah ironically drew a purple rock to be sent packing. Wow. I...uh...I don't even know where to begin with this one. First of all...YES! KY AND TARO MAKE THE FINAL 5! One of them is 100% winning the game now. Even if one of them leaves in 5th place, which is almost certainly going to happen at this point since the three Normals now have control, at least the other one is almost certainly going to bring it home. That's AWESOME!
Next...wow, Ky really is special. Even when angry, he's STILL really likable, and he was very justified in what pissed him off here. Shaega is downright vile and nothing more than a piece of shit in every sense of the word. If you seriously continue to defend him at this point...you are a piece of shit yourself and you need to get your head out of your ass. I mean, he literally bullied Ky into a shocking, yet really sweet rant...then threw his idol into the fire and basically just flipped the middle finger to Sylvia and couldn't care less what happened to her. He is scum.
Finally...I'm really sorry for saying this about Sunslicer2's character, but...your character is a cowardly bitch and she's pathetic. If she had just stuck to her guns and voted Shaega the second time, he would be gone. Sylvia had the right sense to do that on the re-vote, but Leah turned chicken and tried to backstab Ky out of fear. Then, she got dished a huge helping of karma with her comeuppance. Serves her right. Seriously, Leah, JUST STICK TO YOUR GUNS! Yes, you had a 33% shot of going home if it went to rocks, but so did Sylvia or Taro, two people who you know you couldn't trust going forward anyway. You are a cowardly BITCH and you disgust me. You got what was coming to you. I mean, I'd rather Leah still be in and Sylvia be out, since that would almost guarantee Shaega/Dustin go next, but...well, this is karma for being a coward. And, again, Ky/Taro is definitely winning now. They won't go down back-to-back like Stagg/Diego did last season and we get a really AWFUL final 3 of Sylvia/Dustin/Shaega. I promise that isn't happening. So, one of the best characters this season IS winning. But, which one? Let's find out in the finale!

PERFECT - Heading into the finale, Ky might be one of the top 5 best SFC characters of all-time. He's just that amazing. He has the personality, he has the backstory, he has the charm, he has the positivity, he has EVERYTHING that makes a great, wonderful, memorable character. Either he's going to take an unfair fall in 5th and Taro will avenge him and win the game, or Taro will sacrifice himself for Ky in 5th and Ky goes on to win in his honor. The story makes it seem like the latter will happen, but I know better than to trust SWSU with actually making sense. Ky likely is getting 5th, but it's fine, since he's by FAR the best character of the season and that we've seen in a while. Just amazing.
ADORE - As a winner or just as himself, Taro is kinda underwhelming still. There's just nothing about him that screams enjoyment, like it does for Ky. With Taro...it's more of a soft, happy cheer. Still good and still happy, but...just not as dynamic. Taro has proven from start to finish that he is NOT sneaky, he's NOT evil, he's NOT shady, and you all were wrong about thinking he was the main villain hiding behind Xeradonus. Taro is a true sweetie at heart, and he has a lot of charm and charisma of his own that, while not up to Ky's standards, is still enjoyable. He's wonderful, and our most likely winner, and I appreciate that. Still wish it was Ky, but Taro is still a great character, too.
NEUTRAL - Sylvia...yeah, she is what she is. Not as bad as the redheads before her, but...nothing special in the long run. She gets cranky when she's hungry. She partnered up with the biggest idiot the game has ever seen. She had a rivalry with Tamara, and then Leah and Brandi, but it was pretty dull. She's just...a bland character that isn't great or bad one way or the other. She had her ups, she had her downs, she did some good things, she did some bad things...that's it. I hate a lot about her, but I also don't mind a lot about her. She's just...there. Whatever.
HATE - I really, REALLY want to believe that Dustin is a good guy at heart, but...over and over he does these retarded, STUPID things that just drive me crazy. I mean, I respect his loyalty to Shaega; that's really sweet and I admire that. But...dude, he VOTED AGAINST YOU ONCE BEFORE! Shaega clearly doesn't give a real shit about you! And then he bullies Ky and Tails, and cheats in challenges, and pretty much drives people crazy and harasses them to death...and you STILL go with him? I'm sorry, but loyalty aside, there's only so much I can take. Dustin is a good guy...but I don't like him in Survivor. He's not enjoyable here. He's unbearable in all the bad ways. I almost hope he makes the end, just to get destroyed by the jury.
LOATHE - Shaega...you are filth. Ky pretty much said it best...probably in a lot nicer way than I will...but you are seriously just a piece of shit and I HATE YOU. SWSU tries to force this ridiculous backstory from Shaega on us to make us pity him and understand him...but, in Minty and Max's words: that's forced positive bullshit. Shaega is nothing to pity and he's not someone to like or enjoy. Whereas Alleio at least had a REASON to be psychotic and insane, and he had good intentions...Shaega has NONE. He just wants to hurt and bully and torture. STOP DEFENDING HIM, YOU STUPID ENABLING COMMENTATORS! STOP! It has nothing to do with "not taking him seriously". If he was someone like Sexygirlxo...yes, we shouldn't take her seriously, since she went pre-merge and she didn't really do anything to hinder the game. This is much different. Just accept the fact that Shaega is an awful human being and he's not funny or entertaining.
@Tailslover13: Considering that Shaega's backstory has only been glanced upon, and much more focus has been put on how much of a dickhead he is, I highly doubt that we are supposed to feel sorry for him.
@DrMarble: Ding Ding Ding
@SWSU-Master: YAY! What do I win?
@DrMarble: At least 5 more comics with Shaega
@DrMarble: Then why was it even touched upon at all? If we're seriously not supposed to take him serious, why even have those parts in there? Why not just let him be a one-dimensional dick?
@Tailslover13: Someone mentioned this on Deviantart, and I think it makes sense. Ky and Shaega both have similarly traumatic backstories, yet they went in completely opposite directions on how they handled it and allowed it to shape them. Shaega is basically what Ky could have ended up as. And honestly, looking at it that way makes me like Shaega better as a villain.
@DrMarble: Maybe so...but I still hate him and don't find him entertaining or funny. If you want to find him fascinating...go ahead. I can understand why you would. It just bothers me to see all of these players leave while he keeps surviving, and he just mocks and bullies others for fun and never gets punished. Yes, I'm sure he's gonna have some sort of downfall, but...it won't be worth it, because all his damage has been done. That's what makes it not enjoyable for me.
@Tailslover13: Shaega's a sociopath, what do you expect?
@Sinjoh: I don't know. But, I still hate him.
@Tailslover13: I agree shaega is scum however I don't hate Leah 4 her move as I can understand why she did however I'm not happy about it. And Dustin is the dumbest survivor ever.
@crazy fan: How do you not hate Leah for doing that? Shaega literally made it clear he didn't care if they went to rocks, showing what an asshole he is and how he cannot be trusted. Plus, with Ky/Taro, you pretty much are assured a final 3 spot with them, so long as you take out Sylvia/Dustin. So, for me, it was BEYOND stupid.
@Tailslover13: Yeah, but would you want to be assured a spot in a final 3 when you know you can't win? Ky's speech got himself far more jury favor than anyone else there - it was a no-brainer for Leah to flip.
Here's the thing - you can't hate people for doing what's in their best interest just because it was against someone you like. Leah wanted to win the game - is it wrong for her to heighten her chances of doing so?
@coolkyledude: The point is to MAKE the end. It doesn't matter HOW you got there. You need to get there above everything else; if you were meant to win or if your game can back it up, you'll win regardless who you're with. And to get there, you need loyalty from people. Putting yourself into a minority just to get out a threat is NOT smart.
@Tailslover13: The point is to make the end *and get the most jury votes*. If you make the end, great - but if everybody hates you (or loves your FTC opponent) then it's all for naught and you lose.
There's no such thing as being 'meant to win' or being 'deserving'. The winner of the game is the one who a) makes day 39 and b) gets the most jury votes. Destiny or fate or whatever doesn't come into the equation at all.
Ky is a threat to win. It is not morally wrong to target him.
EDIT: Also, Sylvia probably didn't make that good of a move flipping on Shaega :/ He's not winning, period, so it'd be smart to take him to FTC.
@coolkyledude: *sighs* You are impossible. But, given that every single one of your predictions has been false...it's no wonder. Everything you say is wrong...just like Weird Al's famous song. So, I'll just take what you say with a grain of salt. You're free to feel how you want, but...you miss the big picture.
It was Leah, Ky and Taro against Dustin, Sylvia and Shaega. If you take out Ky...you basically have to win every immunity to make the end if you're Leah, because I don't care what Sylvia says, she's not flipping. She knows she gets an easy win if she's with Dustin and Shaega, so...guess what? Because you cut off someone you feared SO much, you put yourself into a 3-2 hole, and...just like with Stagg and Diego last season...you're done. So, congrats on taking out a threat; you just threw your game away by giving away majority.
@Tailslover13: Aw that was a little harsh on Leah, but it's true all she had to do was stick to her guns.
And I don't defend Shaega at all for his actions, he's despicable and a hateful human being. I think it's obvious at this point that we were never meant to feel bad for him. But I personally can't help but be entertained and intrigued by him and his motivations. I think SWSU has done a marvelous job writing a very unique and interesting villain.
@dat4yc: Well, you're free to feel that way; so long as it makes you happy, that's all that matters. It means SWSU is doing his job for most of his readers, which is nice.
@Tailslover13: I mean, in Dustins defense, stupid moves are made all the time. Look at the simulation you just did
@SWSU-Master: But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it or LIKE seeing it.
@Tailslover13: Well, the thing about Sheaga is.... we aren't really SUPPOSED to like him. Not in the normal way. However, with the move he pulled today, as well as his attitude throughout this game, he's a villain who's character I can respect, because he escapes the usual tropes of villains of this series. "I'm going to win, and be as much of a jerk as possible as I do for no real reason." However, we understand Sheaga's motivations. For example, Sheaga could have lied to Ky to make him angry and then played the idol on himself, but he didn't, because that's not what he cared about. It doesn't make me pity him. It doesn't mean I DIDN'T want him to leave here. But I feel that his writing has been extremely good for a villain. And love them or hate them, series like this need villains.
@anime9001: Thank you for Explaining why I like Shaega so much, in a love to hate sort of way. Shaega couldn't care less about two wins or who loses. He just wants to cause havoc and chaos, and experiment with the new powers and emotions he recently got. I described Shaega once before as a kid and a candy store, and I still believe it now. He just wants to enjoy the privilege that he until recently never had to its fullest potential, in his own, twist way. That it no way means that I think what he did to Ky is excusable, but I am going to stand by my unpopular opinion on Shaega that he is one of the best villains in SFC history.
@anime9001: Hear, hear!
@anime9001: I see what you're saying. But...it just bugs me how a lot of players always have to be 'punished' before the bad guy loses in the end. It just feels really unfair.
@Tailslover13: Would you kill Shaega in a heartbeat? And how?
@arv0908: I'd probably just toss him off a cliff. It's my favorite way to kill or hurt someone. It always has been, ever since I was young. Don't know why, but I just find it funny~
@Tailslover13: Interestingly Dustin staying by Shaega's side, while it doesn't make him look good, it's good for his endgame because Shaega's likely the ONLY person he beats.
@Guest: I really don't think Dustin would beat Shaega in the end, to be honest. It would likely be a Gatemaster/Marius situation, being that even if one of them is an asshole...the jury just can't overlook the idiocy of the nicer person. At least that's how I feel. Dustin has 0% shot to win the game.
Somehow, I knew this was going to happen. This irony writes itself.
Well, this is certainly an interesting final six we've got. I really have no idea how this will turn out.
Also, Zach's the Pimp of Ponderosa XD
@ChronoAlone: What a Lucky Guy Zach is
Hm....well, that wasn't entirely precedented. Was a little more-so when it showed Sylvia's second vote and not Leah though, or else neither would have been shown.
As for what happened, I have to admit, I really like what Sheaga did here. While it was sad to see Ky get so upset, Sheaga showed the exact type of villain he is here. He really doesn't care about winning, he just wants to win in his own mind, and his own games. To be honest, I almost can't see Sheaga having a downfall this season. Not because he's going to win or not going to be voted off. But because, for everything he cares about, he already won.... Unless Taro exorcises Paranoia out of him and causes him to lose everything in his newfound love of emotions. Any other scenario and Sheaga already won.
@anime9001: Ooh that scenario with Taro exorcising Shaega would actually be a pretty awesome downfall for Shaega. Kinda hope that ends up happening lol.
@anime9001: Yeah, Shaega is very unlikely to have a major crashing Downfall Brandi and Cordelia had, since he just operates so differently
@SWSU-Master: Im hoping for him getting a downfall that is humiliating, but not the kind that is super epic like Bonnie or Survivor Critic. Instead, he gets one that makes him look like a weenie.
Wow that was one of the best tribal councils of this whole series. Ky finally standing up to Shaega was awesome, their hero/villain dynamic is AMAZING. And exactly what I wanted to happen ended up happening!
Ky is officially one of my favorite heroes and Shaega is officially one of my favorite villains. I don't feel bad for Shaega and it's not that he's funny, I just feel he is a great, unique character. I hate him so much for going against Ky, which makes me enjoy him as a character even more.
This season is brilliant, but it will reach the highest tier of seasons only if Ky or Taro win. Any other winner at this point would be kinda disappointing. Great work SWSU!
Ky > Taro > Shaega > Sylvia > Dustin
@dat4yc: Thank you. Hope the Finale Delivers
Omg yes Sylvia/Leah both switching their votes and causing the rocks, that's so fanfic-y lol.
This was as a whole amazing. Getting to see Ky develop finally, and Shaega's such a unique villain, it's great. Still would've liked Taro to be rocked out instead and kinda feel Leah was only here for the LUL SHE GOT ROCKED joke but eh, still a fantastic TC.
@Vilecheese: The Rocks were actually not a thing that was planned from the start. I just saw the opportunity and took it.
Well now Shaega's basically gotten an emotion from everyone but Taro at this point. Too bad Dustin's gonna win as Ky is out next, then Shaega. And Taro might have played too UTR...
@qazox: Since if Ky wins Immunity, no way does Taro survive
I'm Gonna Get Leah'd Tonight...
...And She's a Real Good Rocksucker!
I'm really, really sorry for that.
Leah is... yeah, she's not that interesting. I get that there were some mini-arcs in her story, but I wouldn't be surprised if anyone else forgot about her "feud" with Sylvia, which was essentially a game of Twister. Outside of this vote, I don't think she's ever done anything wrong, but I think she could've been better, especially since I do watch Fairy Tail.
Time for a recap of the Final Five! How good are their chances at winning?
Dustin: No one votes based on physical game alone anymore, and on top of that, he's a complete idiot. I just want him gone. I can't deal with this much ignorance.
Ky: The nicest player left in the game and the accidental challenge threat. He hasn't been playing strategically, but social games are still very big in determining a winner, and unlike Tai from Kaoh Rong, Ky knows how to talk to people. He's been called a jury threat for a reason, and he might just take it if he makes it to the end.
Sylvia: Thankfully, she's out of the bitchy phase, but still, she has very few friends on that Jury. I don't see her winning unless she's paired up with her even dumber friends at the Final Tribal Council.
Taro: The problem with Taro is that very few people have caught on to the fact that he knows everything. That, and he hasn't really done anything with his strategy. All he's been doing lately is being the Missy to Ky's Baylor, although nowhere near as bad. Taro can win, but he has to get noticed by somebody.
I'll also be spending the next fifteen or so days re-reading each season and reviewing them with each new comic. Chances are you're not going to like my opinions on some of these things, so be sure not to stab me too hard.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: *Stabs softly* Is that good instead?
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: You can skip the first few seasons. Their quality is shit
@SWSU-Master: But that would mean the entire flow of my comments would be off-balance! Do you really want that to happen?
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Be sure to re-read SFC2 and the universally acclaimed SFC3!
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Yeah, I did something similar when I was reading the series for the first two times. The second time through, I left a neat summary of my feelings on every season finale.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Dustin can actually win the game now. It's likely going to be a Final 2 and if he's against Shaega...
*laughs* Bye Leah, your rock powers failed.
GOOD FOR KY-BAE. I LOVE YOU TO ETERNITY NOW, PUTTING THAT BITCH SHAEGA TO PIECES.
That was so awkward though. I won't blame Sylvia though, she did her part. Leah screwed big time, I guess. Ky stood up for you bitch. *sighs*
Get lost Dustin and Shaega.
@arv0908: Dustin and Shaega are underrated
Wow, that's what I call a real surprise Tribal Council!
I neither expected this to end with rocks nor did I expect Leah's departure. She was pretty ok but no saint and her final vote against Ky underlined that. Otherwise she felt like most of the generic survivor boots at this point, pretty likeable but no sole survivor material.
I have to admit that Shaega acted very clever for once although that's not a good thing in general. I am not surprised he used a threat tactic but burning his idol and almost risking his own departure if Leah weren't so scared of voting against him? Wow, Sheaga sure is tough.
Sylvia will be in the akward position of the swing vote now. Villain or immunity threat? I hope she won't disappoint because I was rooting for her more than Leah.
Ah, the brilliant irony. It was great to see Leah taken down, since her story's been over for a long time. It was even better to see Ky tell Shaega off in spectacular fashion. And now to assess the final five:
1. Ky. The most likely (and most liked) candidate. Ky's proved himself in front of his tribemates and the jury to be a fantastic social and physical threat. My number one pick, just like almost everyone here.
2. Taro. An admirable chessmaster. Taro's been very passive this whole game, but is still a massive strategic threat. He's hampered by his loyalty to Ky, but that's entirely endearing.
3. Sylvia. Who? But seriously, no real chance of winning. Sylvia hasn't done much for this entire game and siding with Dustin willingly is a horrible idea. Plus there's the matter of tonight's stupidity.
4. Dustin. Dumb muscle. Very, very dumb muscle. If he makes it to the end, the jury's going to rip him several new orifices. We can only hope that he realizes how horrible Shaega is. It won't be enough to redeem him in the jury or the readers' eyes, but it'll be a rare case of him doing something good.
5. Shaega. I'm of two minds about Shaega. He clearly can't win the season, and nobody in their right mind would vote him out at this point since he's a very good goat. That said, watching him spend days tormenting the entire tribe would suck.
@Sonofhades: Dustin is as goat-y as Shaega is at this point, and much easier to tolerate all around. Shaega's outstayed his welcome, and tossing the idol in the fire was the final nail in the coffin.
I always wondered what would happen if two people flipped like this and still kept it deadlocked. The more you know~
In any case, it could have all been avoided if Sylvia and Leah could've settled on SOMEONE to vote out instead of 'sticking to their guns' and then flipping at the last second... Or at least let the OTHER person know they're flipping. ... but where's the fun in that? It's so much fun to see the looks on people's faces when they know they dun-goofed-up.
Okay, gonna try to call it here. I hereby claim that the winner of this season of SFC will be.... Uh.... Taro. No wait, Ky! ...Dustin? Hell, I don't know. Gonna hedge my bets on Taro, though.
Wow, three out of the final 5 all have really strong chances of winning. I don't think something like this has happened since SFC5.
As adridged!Barret Wallace would say...
"You f**ked up!"
Once I saw the purple rock come up, I feared for Taro, but then I remembered Taro's words to Leah.... and they came true without him really getting any blood on his hands. Perfect for Taro.
Good on Ky for standing up to Shaega. Although now Shaega's standing in the game is going to be tested moving forward.
Looks like we're having a Final 2 this season.
DUSTIN: He only beats Shaega. Dustin's story has been interesting. He doesn't give a whole lot, but he also just wants to be like a 'Fabio' or a 'Woo'. Nobody's going to respect his surfer bro strategy unless they're forced to against Shaega.
KY: Probably the first time I really, really loved something Ky did. Although, I feel like he's really only going to go before the end. Like I said before, the edit is pushing for Ky going out, and Taro avenging him. I only say that because after Shaega's performance, Sylvia and Dustin should both know he's a major threat to win as the jury REALLY liked him standing up to Shaega.
SHAEGA: He's not winning, but it was never his goal to win. He wanted to get emotions back, and... he kind of acts like someone who hasn't had emotions in years; sociopathic, crazy, insane, blah blah blah. His story is great, but he's not winning. He's also a dick.
SYLVIA: THe lone woman standing... and I think she's going to mess up her chances. With a Final 2 on the line, she has a 50/50 chance she will end up in a good spot. She can beat Dustin and Shaega... but definitely not Ky or Taro. I predict Shaega's going home next, so... she's definitely in trouble.
TARO: My pick to win the season. He's been very low key, he's been pretty much in the center of most of the strategy, and he's been paying attention to all sides of the tribe. He definitely deserves to win. If he doesn't, I hope Ky does. One other thing I want to point out is that there are people who think he will sacrifice himself for Ky... I don't honestly see him doing that. He did say "I will keep Ky in this game but at the end of the day I have to look after myself." He will protect Ky as long as he can, but he will not throw his game out for him.
5th. Ky. (Taro will be unable to save him against Shaega.)
4th. Shaega. (Between him and Taro, he is more likely to win the final challenge.)
3rd. Sylvia. (Dustin wins final immunity challenge, and thinks he can beat Taro after Taro talks him into it.)
2nd. Dustin. (Cordelia, Brandi, Shaega.)
1st. Taro. (Gekkota, Zach, Marie, Leah, Ky, Sylvia.)
@TJBambi93: I think there's actually a final three.
@ChronoAlone: SFC14 had two tribal councils listed after Diego's elimination. Sgt Stagg's and Desmond's.
If anything, SFC15's finale format will be similar to SFC13's, with two people leaving on Day 37.
@Guest: I don't know. There could be a final four for all we know.
Hah. That's Leah's only claim to fame. After the Ditto left she lost everything interesting about her. Yawn. She won't be missed.
Interestingly enough, this is the third Purple Rock in SFC history IIRC, all three have been female.
Here's how I thing the finale goes down:
5: Taro (Wins immunity, but gives it to Ky to save him, pretty much sacrificing himself for Ky)
4: Shaega (Ky wins immunity and Dustin and Sylvia get sick of Shae's shit)
Final 3 vote
3: Sylvia (No vote because everybody rightfully hates her)
2: Dustin (Only gets Shaega's vote cause they're BFFS)
1: Ky (Gets everybody else's vote because he's awesome like that)
I'll do a proper FTC vote prediction when the right time comes..
@Blastoise_FTW: Purple Denise, Kiara, and Leah!
All are boring mofos except for Denise who was a loud goddess.
Sorry im a little late
BUT I CALLED SYLVIA ANC LEAH SWITCHING THEIR VOTES LAST COMIC I FUCKING CALLED IT
sorry but im happy my prediction was right
