Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
Bad Move Taro
Leah/Sylvia = Stupid.
Dustin/Shaega = Painful.
Ky/Taro = Heavenly.
Ky with a life preserver or whatever...adorable. Taro belly-flopping and harassing the girls...perfection.
@Tailslover13: We can always count on Ky and Taro to provide an epic punchline.
@DrMarble: That's why they're the best. Whether you love certain characters or hate certain characters, whether you're on Deviantart or Smack Jeeves, no matter what excuse you give...everyone MUST agree that Ky/Taro have made this season as great as it is, because throughout all the chaos or confusion, they've never changed. They've provided the same amount of adorable kindness, entertainment, sweetness, cuteness, and likability that helps us all out whenever we need a smile or a nice, fun moment. That's what makes great characters great~
@Tailslover13: I use the exact same logic when I say that Gatemaster is my favorite contestant ever.
@DrMarble: Yeah, pretty much. With Greg, Marius and Jessica being all strategic and obnoxious...with Amy and Joseph being deep and emotional...with Miranda being boring as hell and just masterminding the game without really being interesting as a person...we had Gatemaster to make us laugh and smile. And of course his crazy "love interest" Maria helped out immensely. Sadly, he kinda got "ruined" in All-Stars due to how underutilized he was, but...I still adore him, too.
Again, I didn't mind Marius and I was happy for him winning...BUT I just wanted to see Gatemaster get it. I love seeing the good guy win over the evil mastermind. It's why it killed me to see Woo lose to Tony.
@DrMarble: He's already played twice, though. I doubt he's gonna come back. While someone like myself would easily allow someone to play three or four times if they're that awesome or fun to use...SWSU isn't like that. He typically doesn't like using characters over and over again.
@Tailslover13: He could maybe come back in an Old School vs New School set up, which is something I would really like to see. Be honest, you know that P Bear and Juiced Up sharing a scene would be absolutely amazing.
@DrMarble: I don't know whether I'd bash my head against the wall over and over again watching that, or just laugh so hard that I'd start crying. I personally hated Juiced Up when SFC11 was happening...and once a certain...eh-hem, "event" took place, I stopped reading out of protest...so I'm not entirely sure how he ended up. But, looking back on him...he was admittedly kinda funny. Polar Bear I always loved; even if he was sided with Minerva, who I personally did not like at all, I loved Polar Bear. He was so nice. If you want to see my rankings of all the season, here (first submission on my page):
@Tailslover13: I can understand people not liking Juiced Up, I personally thought he was hilarious. Also, that link redirects to something else.
PS: As for the way Juiced Up ended up. Well, lets just say he went out of the game in the single most insane and convoluted fashion ever.
@DrMarble: I re-edited it to just go to my page, since it won't link to the real thing for some reason. Heh.
@Tailslover13: My opinions are mostly the same, with a few small differences. There are some rather odd ones at the top tho (Sepiroth and Russell???) and I'm very surprised that Enter isn't at the bottom for Season 12
@DrMarble: I grew up with Final Fantasy VII. It was the second ever video game I played on a console (Pokemon Yellow being the first actual game I ever played period on Gameboy). Sephiroth was my all-time favorite badass villain. No matter how much SWSU ruined him...he will always be at the top of my life. He's that badass and awesome, and nothing EVER beats him. Ever.
I'm a huge Russell Hantz fan. Ironically, the very first season of Survivor I actually watched was Samoa, and I adored Russell. He made me laugh so hard, and he played a fantastic game...and got robbed at the end. Painfully, unfairly robbed. Again, even though SWSU tried to ruin his character...Russell is amazing to me. He makes me so happy.
With Enter...to be honest, I just didn't mind him too much, because he really didn't target any characters I particularly cared for. I mean, I love Sheldon and Phoenix, but...well, it is what it is. Mostly Enter just screwed the game and got rid of a lot of players I really hated or didn't like anyway, and it was kinda funny how basically the entire cast just got fed up and ganged up on him. He was just...unique. Sure, I can see his glaring flaws and why people despise him, but...I actually didn't mind him much.
@Tailslover13: My main reason for disliking Enter is different from most people. Im actually a Super Sentai fan, and I know for a fact that if you went to a Super Sentai fanpage and asked who they thought the best villain ever was, 90% of them would say Enter. I consider him one of the greatest villains in the history of fiction. Enter in Season 12 was SOOOO much wasted potential.
@DrMarble: Ah, you're kinda like the opposite of me then. Even though SWSU wasted Sephiroth's potential in SFC4, I still love him anyway. With you, you seem to love Enter...but you hated him because of how badly he was used in SFC. Heh, that's kinda funny...well, in a way. Sorry that he didn't live up to his potential...and his American version got ruined. Stupid America.
@Tailslover13: While I can agree to that, I found others (like Brandi for example) to provide just as much for this season (at least for me) this season. But I admire the fact that the two haven't changed much this season. People put a lot of stock in how character's develop as if it's a necessity. It isn't really a necessity if keeping the character the same works in context. In the context of this season, Ky and Taro being the same throughout is a strength they both have that has made this season quite enjoyable.
As far as winners go, while I liked Taro's strategy, I just don't feel he deserves it as much as Ky. As for potential matchups at the Jury, I feel Ky/Taro & Sylvia/Leah are the more interesting ones (in Sylvia/Leah's case they'd be a bit more unpredictable than other matchups).
As for favorite characters as I've mentioned before on another comic, Hogan is my favorite, but I can understand why others may not like him.
I'd wish to see some characters more, but aren't there like popularity polls for some of that?
@Joey the Badass Wheeler: Well, yes, Brandi, Daisuke, Xeradonus, Freddy...maybe a few others...all contributed something pretty large to the season, one way or another. There's no denying that. What I was merely pointing out was that good-hearted characters like Ky/Taro that never once let us down or show us a side of themselves that make us pause...and they're STILL here being the same sweeties they've always been...it just feels amazing. Everyone looks for something different in a character and what makes them intrigued by them, but regardless of what you prefer, I just feel like having positive characters like them really help a season in the long run.
Yeah, ultimately, IF Ky/Taro were both to shockingly make the end, I see Ky beating Taro. Even Leah recognizes that Ky is the bigger threat over Taro. So, if Leah's on the jury, that's one vote for Ky already if he makes the end. Sylvia/Leah in the end WOULD be interesting, but...is that what we REALLY want to see?
@Tailslover13: We always need at least a few fun and likable characters to get far, or else the season is clogged with unlikable assholes (I'm looking at you Worlds Apart)
@DrMarble: I know I'm in the vast minority, but I loved Worlds Apart. But, I get what you mean; too many jerks helps drag down a season. Reminds me of SFC10, too.
@Tailslover13: I didnt hate Worlds Apart, but I wasnt as great as I hoped. Something that I am also in the minority for is Rodney. I dont care what everyone says, God Bless that man. He was one of the greatest and most entertaining people on the show in years.
@DrMarble: I've said it before and I'll say it again. Worlds Apart would have been a decent season if Rodney won
@SWSU-Master: Go away, SWSU. You're not welcome here...even if it is YOUR comic...
Go back to pretending to not read the comments and being a troll.
@Tailslover13: Worlds Apart would have been amazing if not for the over-excessive obvious edit of Mike. Anyways, good winner, so no worries. I would have rank it dead last if Sierra, Will, or Dan won. Like, how horrendous will that be?
@arv0908: *gives you a tight hug* I know how you feel. I know some people disagree, but if the season has a bad or undeserving winner...it just really hurts that season as a whole. Because it's like watching a movie; if it has a bad ending, are you seriously going to like the movie anyway? The ending is what your parting memories are mostly about; if you have a bad memory thanks to the ending...then really the product was bad. It's personally why I hate the movie I Am Legend. It was amazing...up until Will Smith murdered his own dog, and then took his own life for no reason. Yeah...ruined the whole movie for me and now I hate it. So, yeah.
@Tailslover13: you know SWSU rarely gives us what we want most if the time lol
@spinfur: Which is why it's my personal job to give him a stern talking to every day and tell him how much he sucks and ask him why he makes our lives miserable by providing free, great content with his quality comics yet always giving us the worst or mediocre outcomes. It's a fun job~
@DrMarble: You can also count on them to be boring, one dimensional characters with no depth. Apart from Leah, they're the only characters left who have nothing below surface level.
@Guest: Hello, Uhbihbjnk, trying to hide as a guest. You're free to your opinions, but they're so stupidly wrong and unfairly hate-filled towards the nicest characters that it makes you look really, really petty and ignorant. I hope you realize that. And they are far from one-dimensional; if you don't realize that, you clearly haven't been paying attention and you only care about being a dick to get attention.
Congrats, you succeeded. Feel free to continue trolling the comics. Every season needs its fools that we can mock for fun.
@Tailslover13: Every season needs a fool??? I didn't know Artemis was coming back! Congratulations
@Tailslover13: Care to explain how they aren't one-dimensional? Or you could just insult, because you're aware that you're an idiot and have no idea what you're on about.
@uhbihbjnk: Look, you're allowed to say what you want...use what avatars you want...and all that. But when you just continually seek me out, attack me, bully and harass me, and purposely try and hurt me...you're a piece of shit and you need to stop. Since SWSU won't just ban you off the comic, and you won't leave me alone like I asked, AND Smack Jeeves is stupid and can't let you block people from harassing you, I'm going to be reporting you to the Smack Jeeves staff. Enough is enough.
@Tailslover13: It's not my fault you can't have a rational discussion with another person. I'm contributing, same as you are.
Yeah if people are planning on taking out Ky this round Taro's definitely winning the season.
@Vilecheese: Or maybe Ky wins immunity and Taro gets voted out, making Ky the most likely winner.
@Vilecheese: If Ky goes this round, you might as well give the money to Taro now, because that would be the most logical story progression.
@Vilecheese: Last episode we got some unnecessary, complex focus on Ky (backstory, some input about gameplay...) so it wouldn't surprise me if that was his swan song right before being voted out.
Can't really say much else, other than this was a pretty enjoyable comic. I like everyone left as of now, though that can easily change.
@ChronoAlone: I don't know if I can say I like everyone left, but I can say everyone was quite enjoyable in this comic.
Hm....well, stuff is in motion I suppose. None of it is too surprising though. And it's nice to see people actually thinking of Taro finally.
Aaaaaand then Taro does a belly flop to break the strategic mood. And his spine.
Is Paranoia spying on the girls in panel 3? If so, it's going to be hard for anybody to blindside Shaega because of that and his idol.
Just vote him out, Dustin. If he couldn't do anything right before, what makes you think he'll succeed at blackmail?
Oh wait, I forgot. Dustin doesn't know how to use his brain.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Sometimes I wonder how Dustin is even capable of human speech.
@DrMarble: folds of membranous tissue which project inwards from the sides of the larynx. Like anyone else I would assume.
Starting to like Shaega a little better as a villain. Honestly, he should have been more like this the whole season, instead of a failure at everything. Then Id be able to take him more seriously.
Well can't blame Leah for wanting to take out Ky or Taro since she knows how dangerous they are as a pair. So far, this might be setting up a Ky or Taro vote off, which is just depressing. Hope Shaega goes, even though he's awesome, because I'd much rather the dynamic duo stay another round
I don't know who this Leah is, but she's starting to become a threat in this season. Shaega might be growing more competent since he has a clear information advantage courtesy of Paranoia. And Dustin? Dustin's IQ is still potato.
I love Ky and Taro so much. :3
They're just perfect.
Oh hey Leah, I see you are gaining more airtime! Inb4 you get blindsided ~
Great... voting blocs have invaded SFC...
@qazox: and thats a bad thing?
@spinfur: No, unless they keep mentioning 'Voting bloc' every chance they get.
Ky sure loves water for someone who cannot swim without floaties. Now he even managed to turn Taro into a comical relief.
I like the duo Sylvia-Leah but Ky & Taro is still the best. One of them better win this season
As for the third "duo"... Nah.
Shaega's not gonna like what Paranoia has to say....
...well, unless Paranoia is a pervert and just wanted to see Sylvia and Leah in bikinis. XD
It's also worth pointing out that in Panel 12, Paranoia is missing, and no, he's not cropped out by Sylvia's speech bubble. Compare Panel 12 to Panel 3. Either SWSU was lazy to re add him, or Paranoia possessed somebody right there.
Paranoia the pervert!
Fuck you Sylvia you dumb bitch.
Shaega picked the wrong ally. Not even blackmail can make Dustin grow one sixteenth of a brain.
Well, this isn't good.
I don't remember the life-span of Hidden Idols. You can only use 'em up to the Final Five or Four... some arbitrary number I'm not gonna bother to look up. Either way, Shaega can EASILY pick his Final Four, especially with Paranoia doin' some pervy-secret-spyings on the girls for their plans. He's probably not gonna make it to the end... but he'll definitely make it a lot harder for everyone still here.
