Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
Gekkota has gotten to know them well.... maybe a little too well.
Cordeliaboo....... My job at the mental institution is much more fulfilling than reading Cordelia's lines. At least I get paid for that stuff.
Because I'm sure that with Brandi and Cordelia around the normals will be super tight.
I sincerely hope Sylvia reconsiders voting out Ky. He seriously does not deserve to leave.
@ChronoAlone: I don't even think Ky is leaving next.
Oh boy...Gekkota, this isn't looking good for you. Playing both sides...is gonna catch up to her eventually, so I'm sticking with my bet that she is leaving in this episode, or next.
In other news, Brandi is awful as always, Cordelia is annoying, and Sylvia is a bitch for telling them to target Ky. So, you don't trust Brandi...but you're still willing to throw the Tortana people under the bus, including both Ky and Leah, two people who have STUCK UP FOR YOU since Tamara left? Are you SERIOUS? Scumbag redhead.
@Tailslover13: quoting goddess Aubry "Sometimes the guy in the middle of the road gets ran over"
@arv0908: Aubry failed to make that happen, though, since Julia is still in the game. Not for long (my guess), but she still is. Gekkota...she's not gonna win any immunity, so...just saying, I really think she might be going home this episode. I think targeting Brandi/Cordelia would be too easy, and going after Ky/Zach won't work out, either. The ones in the middle I would worry most about, like Dustin, Sylvia, Shaega, Leah or Gekkota.
@Tailslover13: I feel like Marie is in the middle too since Dustin/Sylvia might easily sway her to any side. As long as it's one of the bitches or Gekkota going, I'm fine with. It could still be a surprise. Basically Taro is the only one not being targetted anyway. No insight yet from Invisible Shaega and his so called "plans".
@arv0908: Yeah, Shaega, Taro and Marie are really the three I would consider safest, mainly because they're simply not threats at this point...challenge-wise or strategy-wise. So, those three are all surviving no matter what, I feel. All the others are on the chopping block.
@Tailslover13: These are also the three that feel like they have the most uncompleted stories at this point. Marie has to one-up Brandi, Taro's whole "no one targets me because I am but a simple sushi chef" charade has to crack before it can shatter, and we have to find out about....whatever Sheaga has become before he leaves. No one else really has a story that couldn't be ended within the episode, with the debatable exception of Brandi.
@anime9001: That is quite true. But, the first juror/first elimination at the merge is usually a shocking, confusing, or unexpected result. Sometimes. So, who knows what's going to happen? I just hope Ky, Taro and Marie all survive. If they do, then I really don't care who leaves.
@Tailslover13: Ugh same! I really hope SWSU is serving us the long-awaited, long overdue Brandi/Cordelia/Gekkota boot. Let's be honest, there winning chances is about non-existent right now. Gekkota has more, but I seriously doubt it.
@arv0908: Unfortunately, I seriously doubt Brandi, Gekkota and Cordelia are all going out 1-2-3. That would be FAR too easy. From the editing, it SEEMS like we're supposed to be rooting for the people from Tortana, so MAYBE the group of Gekkota/Brandi/Cordelia/Shaega/Marie all end up losing and someone from the other side wins. Don't get me wrong, I love Marie, but...is anyone really gonna let her make the end once everyone realizes how sweet she is? I don't think it's gonna be a Pagonging, but I really think all of Golgora will be eliminated before the final 3/2.
@Tailslover13: Pagonging sucks lol. I do agree that no way the bitches go out 1-2-3. That's like predictable. Either way, this tribal council will be a shock and maybe one of the Middle of The Road people will get cut in TC. Brandi still has the idol, but considering how she has no self-awareness, I'd say it'd be pretty easy to flush it. I don't know what the heck Leah's idol is gonna be but I hope it's something and not just ala Dustin.
@arv0908: I have a funny feeling that either Brandi or Leah won't use their idol correctly, but one will. And don't forget that the merge idol is in play, too, so who knows if someone will find that. Really, at this point, I just want Ky to win immunity, and then let everyone else scramble. That'll be fun.
@Tailslover13: Heh, seems I should have checked back sooner than I did. You guys talked a lot~
To be honest, Gekkota isn't shaping up to look like a villain anywhere close to how Brandi/Cordelia are (or at all, debateably), so I don't really feel we can compare them as a group. Past that, it just feels too early to call how this first TC is gonna turn out. We need to find out where more loyalties lie (no idea yet for Sheaga and Marie, and not particularly sure about Sylvia, who carries Dustin with her).
That being said, on your earlier point about the first boot being surprising, the only one out of the 3 we mentioned that even could pertain to would be Taro. Even as a shock ending Sheaga isn't getting this much buildup just to be dumped. I'm not convinced he's a super villain, but he's gonna have SOME sort of conclusion. And literally this entire season has built up Marie against Brandi with Brandi on her high horse and Marie in the dirt. Unless they both make the finals (which isn't out of the realm of possibility...), then Brandi basically has to leave before Marie. Not that I think Taro is leaving either, but yeah.
@anime9001: Actually...now that I think about it...that might not happen. I have a bad feeling that Brandi is going to outlast Marie...but not Cordelia. See, in all actuality, Cordelia is the one who started all the crap with Marie, by MAKING Brandi paranoid and pretty much goading her into thinking Marie is evil. It's all Cordelia. Brandi is almost like Cordelia's pawn at this point, because while Cordelia is a serial liar, Brandi acts more on impulse and she's been losing it lately. This is what I THINK might happen:
Marie takes out Cordelia. Brandi finally takes out Marie on her OWN, without Cordelia's influence. Brandi then gets taken out almost right after, completing the arc of all three girls. Marie gets revenge, Brandi does something competent on her own, and Brandi pays for her mistakes. Thus all three are fulfilled.
@Tailslover13: I still can't really see a scenario where Brandi outlasts Marie at this point unless it is to get roasted for all of her craziness at jury questions, and even then I don't really see it. Cordelia may be the cause, but unless Marie is able to make Brandi see the error of her ways (which I guess could happen with a Cordelia departure), it's not happening, and even if she does I actually think if Brandi does see what she's done wrong, I then see Brandi taking the fall for Marie to atone for her idiocy (that TC 1 Brandi is still in there somewhere where she had a panic attack simply for if she did the right thing or not).
There are several ways things can go from here, but in all of them I can't see Brandi outlasting Marie at this point due to how their stories have played out.
@anime9001: Well, I'd like to believe that, but...this is SWSU. He doesn't always do the logical or nice thing; he just does what he THINKS will work for the story...or something. I mean, as much as us viewers would LOVE to see a final 3 of Ky, Taro and Marie...it just won't happen. Any competent writer COULD make that final 3 happen, but that's just not how SWSU is. He always has to make some villain make the end, only to lose right before the final tribal council...or get killed by the jury AT the final tribal council. All I'm saying is, I hope nothing heartbreaking happens that pisses us all off, like Cordelia taking out Ky, or Brandi taking out Marie, or Dustin taking out Sylvia, or anything like that...I just worry, since I KNOW how SWSU is...
@Tailslover13: To be fair, just giving us what we want would make for a rather uneventful story in the end, although I will admit he probably doesn't need to make as much use of villains as he tends to. If I recall correctly, the overall favorite seasons in the last 5 or so seasons have been ones where the villains weren't gods of the game that was made to intentionally hate them all season long. Take SFC 13 for example. Sure, we had "villains" post-merge such as Iyzebel, Luna, Alleio, and Tapioca, but Iyzebel was just annoying, Alleio was a mess that was unique enough to be interesting, Luna was the closest to SWSU's usual villain you hate because they control too much, and no one could really hate Tapioca because you never saw her true colors until it was all over.
Well, I got a bit off tangent there, but all I was trying to saw is that people seem to enjoy seasons without blatant villains better than the other way around. However, SWSU seems to have gotten much better at this as time moves on, hence the more recent examples of seasons being different, and the fact that while Brandi is a mess, she's still fairly unique in terms of SFC villains. Past that however, I have to say that I enjoy SWSU's writing (and I even enjoy the seasons other people tend not to, I'm just talking about them from how I see other people react about them)
I'm gonna do a ranking just for fun!
1- Ky/Taro (Adore)
2- Taro/Ky (Adore)
3- Marie (Love)
4- Sylvia (Love)
5- Dustin (Like)
6- Leah (Like)
7- Zach (Neutral)
8- Gekkota (Dislike)
9- Shaega (Hate)
Cordelia's language is still shit and I can't stand it anymore.
Why is there no Marie in this comic?
@arv0908: I love how Cordelia and Brandi aren't even on the list XP
@ChronoAlone: stop making up names
@ChronoAlone: No word synonymous to hate is enough to describe how I feel about those two bitches.
@arv0908: I wrote a fanfic about Cordelia and Brandi being thrown in the bottomless pit.
@TrollDoll: wtf. Are you a creep and put the term "bottomless pit" to spite/troll me? 'Cuz if you look at the comments of the previous comics, I'd earn more than 20 fkin dollars if I earn one dollar everytime I say burn the bitches in the bottomless pit. Leave me alone!!
Seems secrets are being spelled left and right around here, not that that's much of a surprise. Interestingly, it does seem that the supers have the advantage here. They just have to be sure to play all of their cards right....not that that has been their strong suit, however.
Taste of home? Okay, so Cordelia's Japanese now. And yet, she has a French-ish accent (which used to be an Australian-ish accent) and an Indian surname. I can decipher everything she says, but it's never going to help us learn anything else about where she's from.
Unless she was actually eating a snail.
Zach's right about it being them against the world, because Hurricane Brandi wiped out half the planet's population.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: I think she meant high-society food, given her fancy hollywood persona.
@anime9001: You know, now that I think about it, she really is one of those high-class twits. I feel like I should hate her a lot more than I do, but...
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: To be fair, given her scrappy playing-from-the-bottom style of play, I can understand overlooking it. Aside from her backstory and speech, she doesn't give off much of a "rich" vibe to her.
Just die already Brandi and Cordelia... please?
@qazox: I second this. *gets the knife*
Oh, dear. Sylvia just lost what respect I had for her by ratting to Brandi. I swear, Brandi and Cordelia taint everyone they touch. Plus trying to vote off Ky is a massive dick move, if you'll pardon my language. For once, I'm rooting for Gekkota. As a double agent, she could finally break up the Bitches' Coven once and for all. Or at least institute interesting change.
@Sonofhades: I agree u partly for voting Ky is a dick move but it is not a dumb one.
@crazy fan : Yeah, he is a sizable immunity threat.
Well, Sylvia's keeping her options open, and Brandi surprisingly believes her. I guess her lie-detecting skills are spot on, for now. I would not be surprised if she plays her game to try to burn some idols or blindside Brandi out.
Gekkota 'appears' to be playing both sides, but I think the lines have more-or-less reformed to a united Supers vs. the scattered Normals. Gekkota's right: the Normals are ready to turn on each other should the opportunity present itself.
Wondering who'll win Immunity. Ky has the biggest chance of an Immunity Run, so perhaps the next few will showcase that?
Come on Sylvia choose the light! Don't be seduced by Brandi's awfulness!
And yay Gekkota looks like she might be siding more with Zach than Cordelia and Brandi. Though I do agree that her playing in the middle may come back to bite her..
So it's most likely Normals vs Supers again.
Gekkota should actually be able to tell the other supers that Brandi has an idol and it would be wiser to pretend the investigator is the main target while they actually take out someone else. Remembering Gekkota's comment on Day 17 she probably knows that Cordelia is a liar and the person responsible for the mistrust among the Golgora members.
I hope she plays her cards right...
Looking at the game... I think one of the supers is going to win. The only normals I see legit winning the game are Sylvia and maybe Marie. Brandi and Cordelia are LOL, Dustin will be taken out before the end, and Shaega... yeah, he's not winning. His chances, though, are better then Brandi and Cordelia.
As for the supers, Taro has that low key Richard Hatch vibe. Zach's pretty capable of a player, same as Gekkota. Ky... I think he has a chance, but I don't see it like I do with Taro. And I don't think Leah wins at all. If it wasn't for Liz/Jojo last season, I'd say Leah is a contender... but I doubt SWSU would do back-to-back sister storyarcs.
F*** you Sylvia. So much for the Tortana six going to the end :/
I like Gekkota a little more now that she's secretly flipped to Tortana. I hope Brandi finds out there's a mole but doesn't find who the mole is.. The paranoia that would commence would be amazing to see.
Can we pretty please see the Merged Tribe name in the next comic, SWSU?
I don't really know why people are upset about Sylvia. Gekkota flipped 100% blindside. Sylvia's just keeping her field open, which is necessary. ESPECIALLY with Brandi on the table, because she's much more likely to cut old allies than the people she should be targeting.
@anime9001: I think they're just mad that she's confessing stuff to Brandi. I don't blame them for being mad, though. I kinda wanted to punch her in the face when I first read this too.
