Dustin may not be great teacher material....
This whole comic was gold. And Leah's little bit at the end was awesome.
Neither is Leah for that matter.
Yep. With Lea gone, Leah is already ten times more hilarious and likable. And...seriously, a Ky and Sylvia moment? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
But, Dustin...oh for the love of God...I actually feel bad for Zach there. I can see Dustin is TRYING, but...at this point, he's really becoming obnoxious...and not in a good way.
Zach is in his eighties. He looks like a teenager. He's part werewolf and was also raised by a group of werewolf geniuses.
This sounds nothing like Marvel.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: see: Blade, Wolverine, Mystique and plenty others for powers = looking younger than you truly are.
Unless you were sarcastic, then bite Zach's fuzzy ass. ;)
@qazox: It does sound like Marvel, and it doesn't sound like Marvel, surprisingly. I may have just confused myself.
@GaryHawkinsLandscaper: Don't think too hard about it. You'll implode the universe.
@SWSU-Master: Maybe, but he definitely had the line of the comic: "I'm like a modern day Shakespeare." Coming from Dustin, that's pretty funny.
I love Ky. I love Sylvia. I love Dustin. I'm starting love Zach and Leah. Taro's not even in this comic and I love him. Even though Tamara can bring it down sometimes, this tribe is awesome.
Enjoying the trend of lighthearted comics right now after that nasty bullying from Brandi right after TC. If Brandi would just leave this cast would be perfect.
Dustin has consistently been my favorite character all season and I'm being shown no signs of that ending. And Zach gets to show a more likable side of himself! I love it.
THEORY TIIIIME! Somebody's quitting or getting medevac'ed. There's been *waaay* too little strategy in this episode for someone to be getting voted out. Not that I don't like it, every comic this episode has been gold, but I feel like somebody great is going to be robbed like [MASSIVE MOST RECENT SURVIVOR EPISODE SPOILERS] Neal was :(
@coolkyledude: We're just four comics into this episode, though. For all we know, the next two comics (one for Golgora, one for Tortana) could be filled with strategy going into the immunity challenge. So, congrats on jinxing it, Kyle, you brat!
@Tailslover13: You're probably not wrong.
I spent all last season coming up with Jake theories and we all saw where that went :^)
@coolkyledude: It could just be something obvious that can be covered in a single comic like The four Tortana on this tribe sticking together to vote out a Golgora.
@Quizzical Pursuit: If the rest of this season is any indication, these votes (or at least the buildup leading up to them) are going to be anything BUT simple :X
I'mma hold true to my prediction/theory.
I think the Normals should just send Dustin for making in-roads to the Supers. He's so genuine that even Zach seems to be liking him, and while Ky loves everybody he seems to flow the best with Taro and Dustin. Maybe Sylvia would do better with Leah or Taro though.
That being said, I do have to question....what's Tamara doing in their plan? I can't imagine anyone she's going for would work out too well....I guess Taro? At least he's not gonna be mad or complain about it or anything.
Ky and Sylvia. Fuvk yeah! <3
Rocker Leah is totally rad.
Zach, yeah enough of your lifestory dude. #winnervibes
Man, Dustin just needs a true bro to brodown with. Feel sorry for him though.
@arv0908: Yeah, I'd say Zach has a pretty decent shot now.
Woah, Zach's really that old? There must be so many people who envy him for the way he looks. I doubt he's the person to flip though, especially since he knows from Gekkota what the normals are capable of.
Sylvia should be thankful Ky is more energetic than powerful or he might have broken a few ribs in panel 2. Too bad there's a hint that Taro might be the normals next target...
I just realized that we still have no idea where the Tortana idol is. I mean the main theory was that Lea pretended to be Gekkota and found it, but now she's gone, so maybe Gekkota actually does have it? Interesting...
@Quizzical Pursuit: Or Lea left with it in her pocket
@Quizzical Pursuit: I think neither of them found the idol. Gekkota would have played it at Luna or Juli's tribals by now, same with Lea. Well... Lea was blindsided so.
I do think neither of them found it.
@TJBambi93: Well Gekkota wasn't expecting Luna to go and she wanted Juli to leave, so maybe she's holding on to it for a big move? I mean she was the only person to be shown looking for it.
@Quizzical Pursuit: If it's already found then I'd bet one Taro having it. Or maybe Ky. Anyone else would have revealed it to the audience by now.
Ky's enthusiasm is infectious, Leah is hilarious, and Zachary is an interesting if underused character. Nice to see him doing something other than stratbotting with the rest. Oh, and I'm obligated to say this: "Oh my god, Dustin, you can't just ask someone why they're a werewolf."
Something Something Something April Fools.
This episode has more filler than a Cream Doughnut. On the bright side, the comic is more entertaining now.
Nice to see Zach get some character development though, doesn't seem as boring anymore.. Wow, Luna being voted off really improved TWO characters.
Oh and Ky is the best.
@Blastoise_FTW: Luna being voted off, Juli being voted off, Pink Lea being voted off... Once most of the excess chaos instigators were voted off, much of the cast improved dramatically. Gekkota of all people was entertaining last comic, and she was even more of a wooden stratbot than Zach (IMO).
Ky is amazing as usual, and Sylvia is becoming more enjoyable... SWSU, please tell me you made more scenes with Ky and Sylvia <3
Leah... god damnit. why. it burns.
Gettin' some backstory for Zach! that's somethin'
Oh GOD I FORGOT TO DO POKEMON OF THE DAY YESTERDAY!
Okay, quick recap on what yesterday would have been:
Raichu is an electric type. It's weak to Ground type moves. It evolves from Pikachu using a Thunder Stone...
Blah blah blah. I'll do Raichu again some time to deal with this.
Pokemon of the day: Skrelp
Along with being Vilecheese's icon, Skrelp is a Poison/Water type Pokemon that is number 690 in the Pokedex.
Due to Skrelp's typing, it is weak to Ground, Electric and Psychic moves, and immune to nothing. That said, 8 different Pokemon types only deal half damage to it... so that's something.
Skrelp has a 50% chance of being either gender and a catch rate of 29.4%
At level 48, Skrelp can evolve into Dragalge, a much uglier Pokemon.
Skrelp and Dragalge are the only two Generation 6 Pokemon to be Poison type, the rest are all other stupid types.
...Oh, right, Dustin's in this comic too. Guess he wants to be a werewolf or something... idrc.
Liking the light-hearted, more enjoyable group of comics going on right now. Wonder when something dramatic is going to happen that messes everything up XD
oh lovable Ky <3 Oh lovable Sylvia <3
Oh sarcastic Leah <3
Oh stupid Dustin <3
Oh character development for Zach <3
Everything seems right in this tribe <3
