Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
And the Physical Threat is finally beaten. Sgt. Stagg was at a point where he had to win or go home, and the odds were not in his favor.
Sgt. Stagg is a perfect example of being on the backburner for several seasons before finally getting in. I'm not sure when he was applied, but I was holding his application for several seasons just because had I used him he likely wouldn't have had a good story and gone way too early, but as I was crafting SFC14's story Stagg seemed like he was in perfect shape to take one of the lead roles.
Despite how shaky the initial reception was to him, I am glad that by the end people did warm up to him because while he could have been seen as somewhat overbearing in the edit. (Although for the last few episodes everyone has been pretty even screentimewise). But Stagg was someone that almost had to have that focus since he was always doing stuff and was a core figure of whatever group he was in.
With his prejudices against humans which I had in the application. I knew that I could not have him like that the whole season, so thats why I asked his owner some questions and John Hunter came into the mix and his story was there so that he could be betrayed by the other humans, and warm Sgt. Stagg up to them slightly and open up to working with them, because had that story arc been there it would have been really hard to not have him as an early boot.
But as it stands. I really did enjoy writing for Stagg, and he was worth the wait for me, I hope the rest of you can appreciate what he brought.
Lol Jake was a Troll, I am not so sure why Desmond decided to stick with the girls I mean, that's just plain stupid, unless Jojo wons final immunity, they won't take Desmond to the end, I mean they pretty much already won the season
@sesareee: Desmond is banking on the fact that he can turn the sisters against each other. Plus it's risky either way. Go with Physical Threat, or go with Questionably Tight pair.
@SWSU-Master: This is the funniest Tribal Council you have ever made, it's perfect
Well this is literally the most disappointing Tribal Council comic ever.
@Vilecheese: I'm sorry that Stagg went home :(

A-Are... are you fucking kidding me?
No no no. Really? No.
That... that's it? Really? No.
I mean... he worked, but... ffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu...
I feel violated.
SWSU... SWSU, SWSU, SWSU. SWSU-Master... Like, I'm having trouble actually being glad that Stagg is out. LOL I'M CONTRADICTING MYSELF RITE?????
In the great words of Makoto Naegi of Danganronpa: Abridged Thing: "My balls could not be any bluer right about now."
@coolkyledude: Alot of people expected Stagg to win, not just you. You're not alone in this
@coolkyledude: Deal with it lol
Stagg leaves and Jake is revealed to be a mistake.
Seems about right.
@ChronoAlone: Yeah, who could really risk keeping Stagg
Shenanigans!!!! I call shenanigans on the whole season!!!
And which twin will win????
@qazox: Plot Twist. Desmond is their long lost triplet
Wow, SWSU just basically bitch-slapped everyone with the Jake theories.
@Sinjoh: I did?
@SWSU-Master: A little bit, yeah~
At this point, a twin F2 seems pretty much obvious ... maybe a little TOO obvious, so maybe Desmond does have a chance (albeit a very small chance) to make the F2 and isn't just some last minute paranoia like Tapioca.
Also CURSE YOU SWSU-MASTER and your tomfoolery! Now I want to see this "Hawkward" in a later season!
@Quizzical Pursuit: Hawkward appearing later is not out of the question
@SWSU-Master: Then I eagerly await his possible debut.
um, this comic sure was hawkward.
there was no way the twins and desmond would let stagg get past the vote, so it was kinda obvious. now the final 3 should be more interesting!
there's still another question: yukie seriously has the power to make people out of thin air?
@Congo: Yukie just had crazy weird powers this season.
@SWSU-Master: if yukie has crazy powers, is it possible for her to just write a story on a piece of paper and it'll come true? like...
STRANDED TRIBE (green): Desmond, Jojo, Liz
It was a cool, breezy morning on the islands of Samoa, as all three survivors slept comfortably inside the shelter of the Stranded camp... Well, as comfortable as you can be on some bamboo and a big, dirty blanket.
Desmond was the first to wake up, as he liked to go off on his own and think about Survivor. He stretched and climbed out of the shelter slowly, being careful not to wake the twins in their slumber.
Desmond smirked quite Desmondly as he saw the twins fast asleep inside the shelter. They seem so comfortable in their position on the island. Almost... Too comfortable. He stood in front of the shelter with a hand on his hip. "In just a few hours, one of them will be gone." Desmond gloated to himself.
"You see," Desmond crossed his arms and began to explain in a confessional, "Siblings fight all the time. It could be about sports teams, who's the most popular, who's better looking, who's the harder worker, anything. Even if they patch things up, they'll be at each others throats soon enough. Luckily, I have no such baggage in this game." The confessional cut off somewhat abruptly.
Desmond swaggered back into camp, smirking as he sat on a log near Liz, who was now awake and busy tending to the campfire.
"So, Jojo's not up yet?"
"Yeah, I guess she needs her beauty rest, the lazy bum." Liz joked.
"Mmrph... I'm... I'm gonna kiss you..." Jojo slept talked. Whom she wanted to kiss was unclear.
There was a silence.
"So, what do you think?" Desmond asked.
"About what?" Liz stoked the campfire.
"She's quite the social butterfly. She knows how to make friends."
"Mm hm." Liz decided to let Desmond talk.
"You could say my reputation in this game isn't the strongest."
"Yeah." Liz adjusted her hat and her wig to avoid letting her green hair spill out. Hawk Wardly's secret was still safe.
"Ivan was pretty mad at me. I'm sure Amelia doesn't care for me either."
Even with her limited game knowledge, Liz knew where this was going. "How about Sgt. Stagg?" She asked.
Desmond looked down.
"Ah, the sarge... I was fond of him."
"I had no such baggage in this game..." Desmond continued in his confessional, "...Because I voted him out. Bradley." Desmond sighed. "Bradley Stagg...". Desmond ran a hand through his still perfectly coiffed hair. "Nobody had what we had out there. When he kissed me..."
Desmond was lost in thought/his fantasies.
"Nothing wrong with a little showmance, right?" Yukie squeed and continued to write away.
Suddenly, a million dollar check appeared next to Yukie.
can yukie just write stuff and it happens? we know she has the power to desync stories... why did i write all of this?
@Congo: I don't know why you wrote it but I'm glad you did.
@coolkyledude: thanks! no idea why i wrote it either, but maybe i was trying to understand yukie's immense power in survivor. i was sleepy when i wrote it.
@Congo: I have no idea what the hell this even is, but I think I like it lol <3
@jdawg-likes-kaleidescopes: haha thanks. i have no idea why i even wrote it.
Oh DEER, now Staggs gone. Now Desmond needs to stop FAWNING over his own intellect, and or he'll BAM! - BE gone. This finale will be TWINSANE. XD
@Yo: You're looking for more PUNishment huh?
Well there goes Stagg, I had mixed feelings about Stagg. I liked him but im glad he's not our winner. Now it's almost guaranteed Liz is our winner which I'm fine with. Although to be completely honest I'd rather see Desmond win although he has little to no chance.
Also I'm happy we got some kind of answer about Jake but it felt like SWSU added it in as a last minute thing to shut up all the theories flying around about him more than anything which I find hilarious XD
@joshisism: Sometimes the one you expect to win the least is actually the one who's going to win
SWSU, I need a refresher - how many players (literally, not figuratively) were in this season?
@coolkyledude: Less than 19
@SWSU-Master: ayy lmao
I'm.....heh....I'm going to regret saying this...
I'm....not convinced. If SWSU is not able to directly respond to my comment about Jake, I am not convinced....he doesn't have a reason to act like this anymore unless he is literally just trying to troll everyone for no reason now.
At one point, I did guess that SWSU wasn't going to do anything with Jake and it was specifically for/because of our theories, but I mentioned that after so many other rants that I can't take any credit in calling it.
If this all really is true, I'm calling it as direct revenge for me predicting and detailing Luna's departure all the way from last season :p
The fact stands though, until SWSU directly responds about Jake, something is...hopefully...going to happen. So this is my question.
SWSU, is this whole blind goose chase about Jake at an end?
@anime9001: The weird thing is that Jeff keeps saying that there were eighteen players... "And then there were three. Fifteen have fallen..." but if he can't name all eighteen freaking players, then what the hell? They wouldn't knowingly cast seventeen players into two tribes (and don't mention SFC5 or Survivor Fiji! The former had a season built specifically for 17 (4x4 plus one on Exile) and the latter had 9x2 + 1 on Exile) so who's the eighteenth contestant? Who cast the tenth votes in TCs 2 and 3? Those were acknowledged, but Jake's elimination and his place in the cast have not. All of this, and yet we're still being told that three people are left in the game and fifteen eliminations.
Who the hell was Stagg's confessional about in episode 6? Not Adeline, and it seems redundant (but not impossible) that it would be Hunter, I mean it's not like their rivalry was subtle.
Why the hell was Jake in the challenge? He was an "unfinished character" who DIDN'T EXIST. He has no place in a question like that when the question itself doesn't apply to him.
Why the hell was Yukie the first person to publicly acknowledge the 18th contestant's absence, when by all means she should've known - and judging by this comic, did know?
Why the hell did no one question the tenth vote in TCs 2 and 3? It's safe to assume that the players would try to decipher who voted who by the vote counts - I understand why we're not shown that because we're shown the vote counts at the end of each episode both of the real show and the comic, but the characters themselves should've realized something at least by episode 3 - especially Yukie, the superfan!
If joshisism's comment about this part of the comic being added last minute is true, then why the hell would SWSU throw in a crazy mystery in his comic and get annoyed that we're trying to come up with theories? I presume that SWSU likes having people like his work, and what shows that better than people trying to figure out his plot points - if we didn't like it or didn't care, we wouldn't be spending our time here.
All of these and more (except the joshisism point) are plot holes. They don't make sense within the narrative. Are all of the cast members mathematically illiterate? It's not impossible judging by Stagg's split-vote plan in episode two, but this is Survivor. A numbers game at the very core. And Stagg as well as many others have shown strategic prowess in the game elsewhere, so why the hell was he stupid during that single part? It doesn't make any sense.
I want to believe that this isn't over, but, I mean, our biggest lead in Stagg just left the game. No one else has any long-standing connection to Jake, and Yukie's explanation seemed pretty damn definitive.
@anime9001: I reply during Tribal Council comics.
Never thought I'd be rooting for Desmond for the victor...then again I actually liked Vinnie, so...
The one thing that Desmond does have going for him is that if he makes Final Two he'll have a really convincing defense of his game. The only problem is how he would do it. Though I'm mainly just hoping he wins is because having the twins win just seems boring to me :P
@Shyruni: The extra risky thing is. If he wants the best chance in the Final Two, he needs one sister to vote out the other.... but that puts him in real danger.
I know that, it's why I hope he wins, because from a game standpoint it looks nigh impossible. I almost want him to win based on that, because both sisters having a clear path to the goal at this point just seems boring for a final two.
SWSU, would you come over here for a moment?
*Whacks upside the head*
@landis963: Ow. Sgt Stagg fans are mean ;__;
Lulz, finally making an account after following this comic for 5 years. Damn I'm late to the game XD. Anywho, hello everybody!
@Shyruni: Hey, nice to have you here~
@Shyruni: Welcome aboard!
@Shyruni: hey there! i started reading halfway around sfc7, but i only made an account during this season to make an avatar to support my fav character.
i'm not sure how to feel about him now...
And now that I've got that out of the way, I'll actually talk about this TC. My prediction was mostly on the basis that something was going to happen within this comic or the next, so if nothing is happening then it doesn't really surprise me that Stagg left. SWSU has a habit of knocking off the character with the largest winner target on them in recent seasons near the end of the season. As for who wins now, I am actually predicting that Jojo and Liz make the finals with Jojo taking home the win. I detailed before how Jojo actually has the majority of the votes wrapped up even though she doesn't seem to think so, and it actually wraps up the twins' story quite nicely for her to beat her sister in the end.
*Edit- Deleted Jake rant of me being butthurt :)*
@anime9001: Unless, of course, this actually isn't the end of it all, in which case I take back everything I said here and it's THIS comment I will feel stupid about....
@SWSU-Master: but hey! we still have rites of passage (or is it fallen comrades?).
maybe jake has something to say about himself that even the author may not know. yukie or swsu master.
EDIT: i guess it's interesting that they were all able to accept jake as an "unifinished character". i suppose there have been weirder things in the sfc universe.
That was anticlimactic in nearly every way. So Jake was just a weird placeholder, eh? At least we had some laughs. As for the castaways? Desmond is so very, very boned. Jojo and Liz are going to vote his smug ass out and either way a twin's going to win this season. I hope it's Liz. She made moves on her whole own for the whole season instead of riding Amelia's coattails for the longest time like Jojo did.
@SWSU-Master: *Edit: Post deleted*
Ok, I see how it is. Sorry again for pushing your hand, and thanks for responding~
Aw, this shouldn't have been his time to leave... Stagg played a very nice game and rooting for him was certainly no waste of time. He had some nice character development, was a regular immunity threat and fought till the end. There goes one of my favorite characters this season...
I hope Liz wins this now. I can live with the fact that Jojo is still in but have my problems with Desmond. This better not end like season 5...
What a waste of a 18th character. And you know what? I called it after absolutely nothing happened upon episode after episode after episode. And given that SWSU finally acknowledged Jake in a comment, thats probably all we're going to get.
I mean, how does that little explanation Yukie gave explain his physical votes for Jojo and Tyra? Jeff acts like he doesn't know but he still says stuff like 18 people, 1 Survivor?
Jake was a large mystery character done horribly wrong. Given how he was and how he acted, I expected so much more. :/
Or maybe Jake will become his own player in SFC15?
Hopefully the "two tribal councils" thing does come full circle and something happens.
EDIT: Also, SWSU, what should I do regarding Jake on the SFC wikia? Considering his two votes were real and his boot vote was "Comic Sans'd", is it 6-1 between Jake and Yukie? Or leave it blank? I mean... there's still no closure on if that vote actually happened or not.
I think that this explanation makes pretty good sense. Yukie herself said that she used a placeholder character, which means whatever character she was planning to use that season would have made the same votes as Jake and would have the same placement (13th) as well. She just didn't have an actual, fully fleshed out character in his place. I personally think what SWSU did with Jake was brilliant because it generated so many theories when in the end it was as simple as a character that wasn't finished yet.
Also, really sucks that Stagg's gone, figured he wouldn't win but still was holding out hope. Desmond FTW!
inb4 F2 of twins and the vote's tied 4-4
