Be careful what you wish for Desmond...
Alright, Desmond's probably leaving this time. Probably.
Well Desmond's definitely getting voted out now.
With every passing second, Desmond makes the hole he's digging himself into even bigger...
Wouldn't the twin-switch have been perfect here? ;)
@qazox: All in good time. I almost want them to swap right after Immunity so that they can pull off the big reveal during TC. Just for the look on Desmond's face.
joshisism's comment from yesterday is still happening. I fully believe this, and Desmond will leave for good.
And on that note, SWSU seems to be trying to set Desmond up for some humongous fall like the main villains of past seasons, but the fact just stands that Desmond actually has too many redeeming qualities for everyone to raise pitchforks against him and beg him to leave. I'm not saying that most of us LIKE Desmond, but the most hated person this season was Amelia, and that's not about to change now :p
And on that note, I just realized, Jojo actually does have more of the vote than Liz. If they made the final two, it would be
Jojo: Diego, Prussia (they hate Liz for some reason), Mac, Yukie, and Amelia...probably.
Liz: Sgt. Stagg, Ivan (for standing up to him, and because she's more respectable), and probably Desmond.
@anime9001: Yeah, it looks like Desmond's just desserts are coming up pretty soon here. His villainous downfall is coming up, but it's like you said - he's not actually a bad guy, just a bit of a prick. He kind of reminds me of Togami from Danganronpa in that way, wouldn't you agree?
That's a really good point about Jojo. It's kind of surprising that Jojo is one of the top contenders to win now - I bet no one expected that early on.
looks like desmond is going to take a huge fall soon, but i wonder how many votes he'd get at the end?
he might get liz's vote, unless jojo sits next to him. he might also get diego and prussia's vote, if only because they would vote for the evilest guy or something i dunno.
You know, it's curious that Stagg is even close to a contender to win. It's not like he's done anything remotely impressive aside from win like four immunities (and probably six two TCs from now). He's not even a super honorable loyal hero either - he flipped on Yukie, his closest ally from the pre-merge, and he used his idol on himself instead of Diego. I'm not saying he's a horrible human being - I mean deer - for doing any of that, they were all in his best interest, but everyone's praising him as this amazing guy when he's really nothing special. Not to mention - every time a vote doesn't go his way (Tyra, Yukie kind of, Diego, arguably Mikah with how he responded to the other tribe, and probably more) he mopes around and when a vote does go his way (John Hunter and arguably Adeline/Jake) he praises himself as this master player that he really isn't. All of this, yet the edit seems hellbent on making him out to be the biggest and most honorable hero in a world of liars and cheats when they're not really all that bad and he's not really all that good.
He just annoys me. I don't care for him.
Even if Desmond's talking were sucessful, winning all those votes with one sister still remaining wouldn't be guaranteed. I think it's too late to realize that his social game already cost him the million, Liz gave him a chance to become a better person and he blew it. We can only guess how exactly he will lose...
Man, Liz's obvious winners edit is still so obvious. Predicting that she beats Desmond in the f2 with Stagg leaving today
Desmond is going next Tribal. The thing is, if he does try to turn the twins against each other they can just tell each other about his manipulations and then team up on him. On the other hand, if it works then Stagg is guaranteed victory.
Personally... I think there's two things we should know:
I doubt the twins are the Final 2. I doubt Sgt. Stagg is in the Final 2.
So I'm believing Liz/Jojo will go up against Desmond. I'm still confused about the two challenges yet only two tribal councils.
