Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
And with an Idol played the Final Four is named and Diego is left out.
When I was planning this season and Diego, my initial thoughts about him were a bit mixed since the "Fail Villain" Arc had been done alot before and Diego while not strictly in that archetype, was similar enough that preconceived ideas could be enough to alter perception of his character into that, instead of the "Goober that really isn't evil tries to be Evil and Nobody takes him seriously" Arc, which is quite a mouthful, but thankfully in the end, even if it took some time that's what almost everyone saw.
When I was making this season, I knew Diego had to be interesting enough to last the majority of the season, and enough of a story so that he could survive story wise after Prussia left, and honestly I do think Diego's last two episodes were two of his strongest in the entire season just due to how much we got to focus on what makes him tick,
Another thing about Diego, and this one was fully unintentional, was how viable of a winner pick he was. Since preseason I was really working on portraying the Final 4, Prussia, Ivan (Until a certain point) and Thorne as the Edgic contenders, Diego was not one that I planned to give a viable winners edit to, and yet.... the people that supported Diego made great claims that I could honestly have seen myself making, and as fitting to his character, just like his gameplay, his winner edit was accidental and unintentionally good.
But with that, we close the chapter on a very fun, and our evil sweetheart Diego as we head into the Finale.
NOOOOOO HE WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN UGH
@Vilecheese: I suppose this is one final act of villainy
Damn. Desmond's the roach that just won't die.
Sucks to see Diego go. He was a fun character no doubt.
I thought that we would a comic where Amelia shows up but remains silent. I was wrong. That girl does not have a shut up button.
EDIT: Also, has anyone noticed that since the merge, everyone except Amelia has had a smile during their closing statements?
@ChronoAlone: She always has to be different...
Of course Ms. Bitchy Hipster-Pants had to make a snarky comment.
Sorry Stagg, but unlees you win immunity, it'll be an all-human F3
@qazox: Immunity is his last resort
It's a final 3, Desmond got it all wrong
@sesareee: Imaging Desmond's face if it's a final 3 right now. I picture regret and some faceplaming.
@sesareee: 2 Challenges and 2 Tribals, kinda sounds like it has to be a final 2 to me~
@anime9001: two tribals COULD mean:
tribal 1: next person voted out
tribal 2: final tribal council
but what about the 2 challenges? i can't answer that one. EDIT: oops jeff said it was a final 2. then again, he always ignores a certain contestant...
@Congo: maybe it like that tribal on sfc7 where they voted out Quadratic and had a challenge and another tribal but still counted as the same tribal due to a tiebreaker, so we migth get a tiebreaker, just saying lol
@sesareee: Nah, Jeff himself said it would be an F2. There could be a double Tribal though...
@sesareee: All Depends if Day 37 is Reward or Immunity
@SWSU-Master: Even though Jeff said the car reward was the final reward? ;p
Noooooo, not Diego, this is almost too much to BEAR!. I hoped this day would be imPAWsible. Next episode there'll be a lot at STEAK. Its gonna get GRIZZLY :).
Ya know what I just noticed? It's pretty great having the biggest villain left in the game at the final 5 not being someone that the entire comment section wants to rip their throat out. Just something that I noticed.
And in the end, it stinks to see Diego go, but in these final few episodes his days really did feel numbered. With that, let us sit back and prepare ourselves for the finale.....a finale that I....HOPE....we won't ever forget...(please let it happen)
@anime9001 No idea what you mean...
@SWSU-Master: Thanks for reinforcing my belief that it's still happening ;)
I was actually starting to doubt myself for a second, but only thinking that you took it out at a later point in time in making the comic, not because I made the whole thing up~
So... Diego was a faux-villainous Damon, huh? I'll take it. He was a great character and he really added to the season.
There's no way in hell that the sisters are making F3 together, but there's no way they're voting each other out either. That means that there could be 1. a 2-2 tie, 2. the sisters voting against each other for some stupid reason, or 3. a new swing vote...
Also, look, if Jake doesn't return in any way, this is going to be one of the worst seasons ever.
@coolkyledude: If its a final two, Desmond or Stagg winning the final challenge would stop it too
well, diego was funny sometimes. i like that he's more kindhearted than you'd expect out of a guy who's job is literally to be a cartoon villain. his "evil but not really" thing did get a bit old after a while, though.
so who wins? i'd like a liz victory, but sgt. stagg seems to have the strongest edit. i don't know!!
edit: updated my avatar to reflect the change i just noticed on sfccomic.wikia.com. some say my avatar is invisible to only a select few.
@Congo: What avatar?
making a new comment for this because it's long: something i noticed about the tribal council comics is the way jeff counts the "xth" person voted off.
day 9 tribal: john hunter is the 4th person voted out
day 12 tribal: adeline is the 5th person to leave. jeff never calls her out as the 5th to leave, but jake is the 6th person voted out, so adeline was counted.
day 15 tribal: spinfur is the 7th person voted out. this acknowledges jake being the 6th boot, making this one of the few times jake has ever been indirectly mentioned.
does anyone know what's going on here?
@Congo: Something else I've noticed with Jake. Although he supposedly doesn't exist, his votes still count in every Tribal Council he has "attended."
During Mikah's boot, Jeff reads out three votes for Jojo (from Stagg, Spinfur and Jake). Jojo and Mikah's whole plan is based on them each getting three votes and four going to Stagg until Amelia flipped. This implies they were aware of Jake and included him as one of the six people voting to get them out.
During Tyra's boot, Jeff reads six votes for Tyra and four are read for Jojo, which means there are ten people present (if there were only nine, then he would only need to read five votes to eliminate Tyra).
I don't know if it's all editing or magic or whatever, but Jeff has been reading Jake's votes at every TC he's been to.
NO NOT DIEGO, WHY HIM WHY? my bet is that Desmond goes next, please?
@ChaoticCross: 25% Chance
MAJOR DANGANRONPA SPOILERS IN THIS COMMENT, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK
Here's a new potential Jake theory for you all: Mikah (or a relative of some sort) is Jake, or the puppetmaster, mastermind, whatever.
Here's my evidence: One, she's a recruit. Plus she had a conflict with Stagg, and while that was justified in the game as being due to bad work ethic, what if there's more to it? Not to mention another connection: Jojo. She had reason to save Jojo in the Tyra boot, because the two of them had been working together and she wanted her to go far. Plus! There's a good shot that Mikah was the one who made Stagg's game in the "early stages" so "messy" (Stagg's Episode 6 confessional).
Here's where the Danganronpa spoilers kick in: she fits Junko Enoshima (Mukuro Ikusaba) to a T. Second person eliminated (Enoshima was the second death), and her appearance is very similar as well as her personality of kind of a bitch. If we go with the theory that the Jake mystery is in some way related to Danganronpa's, then Mikah is a strong contender for the mastermind.
Personally, I still think Hunter's the mastermind, but Mikah has skyrocketed right up there.
Another possibility is Yukie, but she's the third likely by a long run.
I'm not necessarily sure if there'll be a Final 2 or 3 yet, but there's definitely not going to be an F2 with 8 Jury members - no way to make someone win by one vote, and there's definitely not going to be a unanimous winner or a tie again. Either a double Tribal ala last season or an F3, but there's going to be one more person joining us.
@coolkyledude: It is possible to win by 5-3, 6-2 or 7-1
@SWSU-Master: You've only had a few seasons with a vote difference of more than one - the last one was last season. I'm sure you wouldn't think to do that again...
@coolkyledude: Interesting theory. I almost wrote it off as you going overboard (again :p) but it actually makes a lot of sense. Well, not actual sense, but it fits with the whole Donganronpa stuff pretty well. I also think Yukie will be involved in some way with whatever happens with this, but not by being the mastermind.

@anime9001: I want to get off Mr. SWSU's Wild Ride
Fuck you, Amelia. Now that I've got that out of my system, Desmond's going to flip to the twins' side. Then he'll have majority and all he has to do is beat a twin in final immunity to break up that twosome. Provided Stagg doesn't manage to save himself in the meantime. Here's to you, Diego. At least you have a smoking hot villainess to go home to. You were one of the best characters in this season.
@sonofhades: Or Desmond needs the sisters to betray each other
@sonofhades: I honestly think Desmond is so cocky in his abilities that he'd throw the final challenge.
On the one hand I'm glad Desmond didn't flip already but on the other hand it sucks to know that Diego was still doomed. He was that kind of survivor responsible for the funnier moments this season and although his biggest move lies in the past when he betrayed Hunter he still did pretty well. Thanks for putting him into the season
What annoyed me the most is that Jojo couldn't resist bitching about Liz once more. I wonder if Liz sees the potential betrayal coming and prefers to team up with Stagg. I wouldn't mind that
@SkySurfer: Diego was doomed when Stagg played the Idol for himself.
@SkySurfer: I think 90% of that complaining is them still trying to make Desmond think it'll be easy to make them betray each other. Jojo has made it clear that that is a plan of hers.
The other 10% was from the heart though :p
@anime9001: Really hoping you're right about that. It's just that during the reward interview she not only considerd beating Desmond in a Final 2 but also tried to suppress feelings of guilt when she said "... she doesn't need this" meaning Liz. I think Jojo's thirst for a bigger reward could make her reconsider who she wants to go to the end with
You will meet again, you two, in 2082.
