Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
He was the master of the game mechanics of Survivor, but it was the social dynamics of the season that did him in. And with that the Survivor Critic is out of the game.
I don't know how obvious it was, but I loved writing for the Critic, everything about him was hilarious, and he could double as a strategic force as well, He was great for getting the meta-humor out there, and I was able to use him as a voice of some fans/critics at points with Frost and other elements in the game. Just like Eli, he was fun with messing with predictions of, is it foreshadowing, or irony? However, It was clear that he needed a downfall, and when I decided on Frost getting eliminated at the merge, and the Critic having his ultimate victory. Him following her out the door with an idol in his pocket, and due to Survivor Trivia... the staple SFC Challenge. I had to do it.
But again. I really did enjoy him, and I know he was polarizing at times, but even if he did irritate you. I dont think you can call him a season ruiner.
So he gets taken down by Jim/Roth's friendship. That works.
@Vilecheese: And not knowing the other players in general
I wasn't expecting it, Wait Damon voted for Jim whattttt!!!?????!!
@sesareee: I KNOW RIGHT?!?! I thought Tapioca would vote for Jim and Damon would vote for Critic ;__;
@sesareee: The Critic saved Damon at the last vote. He had to repay him
YES, I knew that Jim would pull a Red somehow!
Yeah, the Critic has NO sense of a social game no matter how much he acts like an expert and that was his undoing. I am genuinely impressed that he even got some of the answers right at all.
@Tinyhammer: Some of them were very easy... like What is Hash's real name...
Huh. Guess I still need to read up on the edit. Up until rereading TC again did I not see the Critic's downfall play out.
Still don't think Alleio is our villain.
Critic was fun no matter what. Shame that we won't get to see him get torn up at the Final 3.
@TJBambi93: Now he can tear other people at the FTC
I CALLED IT!
My word, I was actually right! Now I know this is REALLY a mirror universe.
Critic was annoying, but also managed to be amusing at the same time. I'm torn between missing him and being glad that he's gone.
@Friend of Fennecs: Its very mixed, but good job!
Figured it would be about this season. Surprised that he did as well as he did.
@AkumaTh: It was alot closer than it should have been
Very glad at this outcome. Was personally rooting for Frost to cheat Jim's way to victory, but being done in by Jim's friendship with Roth works too. Although, with how oddly poetic this was, this will probably give Alleio hope and make him go a bit crazy again, seeing Jim win quite literally through the power of friendship~
As for the Critic, I'll be honest, I didn't like him as much as I was hoping, but he was definately good for what he did. I just have a hard time liking any arrogant villian-ish characters. And with the Critic gone, this is looking like one of my favorite merged tribes yet~
And lastly, nice jab at Iyzebel with the boyfriend question XD Pretty sure she just lost her fight with Sasha over Orwell~
Edit: Also, what's up with Frost being wrong about Critic knowing the last question?
@anime9001: It was implying that Roth talked about BttF with more people than just Jim. But the Critic didn't pay attention.
I never really like him, he left a bitter taste in my mouth for some reason
Oh and was i right about Jim being safe yeah twas obvious
@Fern111: But alot of the other commenters were split
Guessing Orwell & Sasha might go back to find Arnold's idol? As to who would fake one, Alleio is my guess. And Izyebel will find the super idol.
YEEEEESSS!!! GO JIMM!!!
Sad to see Critic go, but this was the perfect downfall for him, and it was much better than Frost cheating him out.
I'm guessing that Luna will set up an alliance with Jim, Roth, Sasha, and Orwell next. That would be her smartest move, plus, it seems to be the way the other players would align now (Damon and Tapioca could join up with Luna, Roth, and Jim, but they wouldn't trust the two of them).
Eh. Critic had accomplished what he needed to story-wise by taking out Frost. He had a good run.
I was laughing like an idiot when Critic lost. Surves him right. He was entertaining, but was too much of a threat.
Taken down by Back to the future should've watched it critic. I'll miss you
So all it took to decide this tiebreaker were a couple of guesses and two more or less important friendships.
S.Critic has been too much of a jerk lately and deserved that quick and painful downfall but I cannot deny that he was a smart player. This Tribal Council will teach him that you never stop learning in life no matter what you call your personal strength. I'm still glad he participated
With both S.Critic and Frost gone now, I wonder who wants to be the next leader. It better not be Iyzebel who tries the fake idol plan and risks a humiliation similar to Penny's...
Bye Critic. Your elimination shall not be mourned.
Now if someone could just take out Alleio already I'll be fine.
Who is Mango?
