Who will be going home. Arnold, Frost, or someone else?

Can't it be the Critic or something?

Anyways I guess Arnold did what he had to do in sending G'rilara to the merge so he might leave and the Frost and Critic battle will continue just a little longer

Reply AkumaTh, August 13th, 2014, 10:06 pm

It seems Frost is onto something. Shame Arnold is making things more difficult for himself.

I have this peculiar feelings that somehow, someone other than one of the two primary candidates will get blindsided. The Critic seems most likely.

Reply Vilecheese, August 13th, 2014, 10:21 pm

Survivor Critic is like a more likable Eli to me in that he's not quite as broken and not as CPOTT6.

I really hope Frost leaves...

Hm.... Episode points to Frost boot, logic points to Arnold boot. They both have already played a part in the story that would continue fine if they left, though I feel that Arnold's is a lot more cut and done (bringing Grilara to the merge, leaving his idol at the camp and telling Hash, ect) than Frost's with her leaving before either of her rivals. So dispite what I said earlier, I have to side with Arnold leaving on this one. Their chances of taking Arnold out now are less dangerous than an immunity threat before the merge even hits, even if it's only slightly less dangerous.

OK, let's break this down char-by-char.

Frost: Could have caught wind of the blindside, voting Arnold either way.
Luna: Inscrutable as always. (I notice, BTW, that she has never ever ever been on the chopping block)
Critic: He's having doubts about his plan. It depends on whether Hash's mini-plot worked.
Roth: All but convinced to take out Arnold.
Arnold: All set to vote Frost, and hopefully bereft of Idol by the time TC rolls around.
Hash: Doing his darndest to make sure Arnold goes.

We have 3 voting Arnold, 1 voting Frost, and 2 abstaining. Assuming no Idols, those numbers alone would be enough to take him out. However, we don't really know where Luna's voting. No one really knows where Critic's voting (not even himself at this point). And we don't know where the Wakah idol is. *sigh*

Critic/Hash/Roth could go either way, it just depends on what they're thinking. Hash really wants Arnold out, which I definitely wasn't expecting, Roth seems to want Arnold out, and the Critic is not making up his mind, so right now it seems like Arnold will be going. You've certainly shocked me before though, so either one of them could leave. (Unless Frost just happens to have the idol and blindsides Critic, but that would seem too sudden and unexplained).

I'm gonna go with my gut and say SC is eliminated in a clusterfuck Tribal, with an outside chance of Frost.

Arnold's story doesn't seem over yet.

I wonder whose mind Frost was reading right now... Roth's or Arnold's? (because he was searching too close to her)

Hm, now that Frost is alarmed and cannot be blindsided like most survivors her only survival option is finding the idol quickly because I don't think that the idol threat would make the alliance quickly switch their vote to Arnold.

So I still think that it's Frost's turn to go as the round was focusing a lot on her in the Wakah tribe and her broken powers

Here's hoping that this is a red herring, because I'm very, very tired of Frost. Goddamn superpowers cheapen the game. The producers in-universe should never have let in a person with the ability to read minds.

Boot Critic, already, he's an obnoxious prat. Frost is overpowered, yes, but I find I like her character more than Critic and want that asshole out already.

Reply SWSU-Master, August 14th, 2014, 7:11 pm

Fern: It COULD be the Critic but its not likely
AkumaTh: Hash isnt helping Arnold much either.
Fennecs: Well I did say someone else....
Vilecheese: Thats nice to hear for the Critic XD
anime: Not alot of people are calling an Arnold boot, so you're either way off. Or one of the few calling it.
landis: At least the Idol isn't constantly spawning.
PugLover: She knows something is up. But what is she going to do about it?
jdawg: Regardless of who leaves. It'll likely be a big character.
SkySurfer: Or maybe its the start of a new chapter for her>
sonofhades: They havent been that much of a help this season. Been more of a hindrance if anything.
Kathrina: That is where Frost edges him out. She's not an asshole.

@SWSU-Master: I'm still not sure why exactly the producers let Enter of all people onto the island.

Reply Vilecheese, August 14th, 2014, 10:00 pm

@landis963: They thought he'd be good for ratings?

Reply landis963, August 14th, 2014, 10:21 pm

@Vilecheese: Given that people (at least here) were threatening to leave if Enter didn't get some comeuppance already da**it, that kinda backfired.

I wish Critic would go, but Arnold may have stepped in it idol-hunting
