Having a big head in this game so early, and being blockheaded like that is never a good way to play the game. Which is why Stanson is leaving.

Overall I think Stanson was a good character, he did what he had to, but when it came time to cut him, it felt it was at the right time. Since Act 1 is coming to a close and as you'll see later what he's done will help move the story into Act 2. So in terms of story, unlike Rudy. I'm not too upset about losing him. Sorry to the fans who liked him, but this is how Stanson was always meant to be.

Well it makes sense, he started the whole Frost/Critic feud and he isn't needed anymore.

Swap time!

Not really surprised at that, I'll admit, I was a little nervous once I saw that Frost voted for Critic, but then I saw that she said, "Hope my allies don't mind me sending you this message," and I knew Stanson was done. He set up the Frost/Critic rivalry, his purpose is done.

Heh, Blockhead. Figured he was going to leave now.

Yeah, I suppose the whole episode was setting up for this. Anyway, all bets are off now that it seems that the tribal swap is among us~

Well, there goes another good example for an "overmotivated" character... Stanson could have easily made the merge if he didn't try so hard to heat up the Frost/Critc rivalry and gave Frost a better reason to use telepathy.
In the end, I won't miss him that much. He certainly had more potential than characters like Chloe but his "plan" was just as one-sided as hers...

The following round is obviously bound to be dramatic. I can already imagine some survivors to be involved in the food incident and the big mistake but it's safer to say once we see the new tribes

And the Mary Sue lives to fight another day. Damn Luna I thought you were planning something pretty good behind the scenes.

Predictable boot was predictable in the end. Won't be missing Stanson, but I feel like they're missing a prime chance to take out a dangerous threat before the swap.

Vilecheese: Pretty much sadly
PugLover: Frosts vote was essentially giving the Critic the finger.
AkumaTh: Good a time as any.
anime9001: Or at least some form of shakeup.
SkySurfer: One of them happens before the mix up.
TJBambi: Who is the threat? Frost or the Critic?

Reply TJBambi93 (Guest), August 5th, 2014, 5:21 am

I think both are threats moving forward, but I think Frost is more dangerous to go up against then the Critic, honestly.

Charlie Brown is gone. :p

So a merge is next, as much as I would like to see Frost and the Critic on the same tribe, it probably won't happen. Would like to see if somehow all 3 psychics wind up on the same team...

Later, Stanson. Maybe they'll pull together and get Frost out next round. The Critic raises a legitimate point. Her powers make her extremely difficult to beat in challenges and they make it impossible to keep secrets from her back at camp. Once the tribe realizes Critic is right, she's getting booted out on her frozen Mary Sue ass.
