I assume Yvonne forgot about the time she was aligned with the Life Vests, giving her a 5/9 majority at the time.

Problem is Shelby doesn't care about Cleo anymore so this is most definately Cleo's boot episode.

So long :(

nice to see a comic without hiding information

It it nice to see Yvonne is actually learning from her mistakes. It was also awesome how Cleo call her out on her reckless paranoia.

Can Shelby really convince Lola to flip on Kim? Probably. But if the ladies were smart, they'd lay waste to the 3 guys left first, after getting rid of Kim.

Reply anime9001, January 29th, 2014, 11:26 pm

Well, we all should know that Kim isn't leaving this episode because of her idol. Besides that, coming from SWSU's comments from yesterday about Enter's leave setting up the ending storyline, I'd say that it's not a major player leaving next either....though the only major players left are really Kim and Cleo, so that still leaves quite a few people left on the chopping block.

Btw, if they do get Lola, isn't that just 4 to 4? Though it wouldn't be too shocking if Robbie and Spongebob just follow whatever Lola does. If Mike ends up being Kim's only ally, she's in trouble..

Guys, I just had a thought....

What if Yvonne is going to be the winner?

Reply SkySurfer (Guest), January 29th, 2014, 11:56 pm

I have higher expectations in Shelby than in... uhm, Mrs. Paranoid.I wasn't exactly one of Shelby's fans in the beginning but she had some character development and improved quite a lot in my eyes.

Cleopatra sure has high expectation, even for her own standards. Getting Lola into their alliance is one thing but convincing her closest friends Spongebob and Robbie to vote against their former alliance is another. I doubt it's in Cleo's interest to fight a 4 vs 4 battle this round with equal chances just as a.

@Irodnelson32: Hopefully not, compared to previous Phoenix Wright chracters like Kris or even her brother Chris she played a bad game so far

Re: "Powered" characters SWSU, I should probably have asked this yesterday during Enter's boot, but I'm trying to make a fan character for a series entitled "Worm" (Look it up, it's amazing) that might make its way into your application pile in a season or two. Anyway, there are two types of "capes" in Worm: "Triggered" capes, who get their powers after reacting to a traumatic event (e.g. the protagonist got her powers from being stuffed in a locker with a bunch of gross stuff for over an hour), and "Cauldron" capes, who get their powers from a super serum bought from the titular organization (e.g the resident Wonder Woman expy). In either case, whether they get powers and what those powers would be would be up to you.

Would that be an acceptable compromise, esp. since you would still be the final word on "game balance," as it were?

I'm now convinced that Yvonne will be the central character of this season (the one that SWSU mentioned after the last comic). I don't know how to explain, but it just makes sense.

When it comes to powered characters, unless their power is relevant to the plot, it'll likely only be mentioned or used in passing.

Reply Guest, January 30th, 2014, 7:36 am

@SWSU-Master: That's the thing, though. In my concept, they would gain powers mid-game (Which does necessitate some portion of the plot). With a Cauldron serum, it would be more of a panic button.

However, those serums are known to cause physical mutations along with the power, so there is always the medevac option if you want to punish them for cheating.

Well, Cleo's going this episode. She's relying on the most annoying and unreliable characters in the season to do her dirty work. Oh, and I remember Brock from Cursed Islands, I believe? Had superpowers, rarely used them. That was handled well.

Reply Missalice3, January 30th, 2014, 4:27 pm

I'm not surprised that Kim has been targeted out of the game, because she did make the move to get out Enter, but I don't think it will work, say if it's between Kim and I suppose Yvonne, clearly if Mike votes with Kim, SB and Robbie will as well, and if Lola has the choice between flipping with the girls and staying with her closest allies since day 1.....chances are she will not vote out Kim.
Also my prediction for the next 3 people to leave are Yvonne, Cleo, and then Shelby, if one of the three manage to stay, I'll bet SB goes due to him soon being seen as a jury threat.
So right now it seems as final 5 is:
- Kim
- Mike
- Lola
- Robbie
- SB/Shelby/Cleo/Yvonne

Lets see if I'm correct. :)

Reply Fern111 (Guest), January 30th, 2014, 9:26 pm

@Missalice3: I think its probably going to be that except Shelby will take the 5th spot and SB will take Robbie's
