Fan Characters will be competing for $1,000,000.
And with that Ladies and Gentlemen, is the Conclusion of SFC11, Angel Joins the others in the winner circles, It was a struggle for her to stay in, but she did it.
Thank you all again for reading this season :) I'm sorry for my inactivity (college and RL issues) But I still read every single comment posted, and I'm glad you enjoyed it for the most part.
Notes will be up shortly
Angel was Melanie done better IMO.
YaY angel won, im not that excited for it rigth now, but I wanted her to win and she won it.
That was amazing!
I knew she would win. Even though she didn't deserve it anywhere near as much as Eli or Sunflower.
@Vilecheese: I disagree. Melanie at least fought to stay in the best possible situation for herself, even if her invincibility got boring towards the climax. Angel spent the last 10 or so days doing absolutely nothing to save herself when she was on the chopping block, and was handed the victory.
Well, I called it since before Crisco was voted out and I was hoping to brag a bit about calling Eli's win so early, but he didn't, so oh well.... I'm glad Eli wasn't sour (actually was ecstatic), and I can't complain with Angel being the winner in the least. And on top of that, this has got to be one of my favorite seasons yet. Very nicely done SWSU. Can't wait for season 12.
And as a side note, I think Eli has a very high chance of being in the next All Stars now. Sadly, I also think he has a high chance of being the first boot now that everyone will know that his powers actually work from watching his season...
I'm glad that Angel won over Eli.
And thus ends my first live season of SFC. It's a lot more fun to read live indeed. ^_^
This totally reeks. I mean Eli did some big moves while Angel did nothing. The only reason Angel won was because most of the jurors were her friends, and the two muscleheads were too bitter over their loss to vote for anyone else.
@rac567: Just for the record, the bitter muscleheads actually did vote for Eli in the end.
Also, @SWSU: I know a lot of people ask this, but I sent in a character application a couple months ago, and I was wondering if you got it? And, if you don't mind me asking, if there's anything about him that might make him unuseable as a character that you might want changed? Not asking if he'll be in the next season or anything, but I am paranoid that you might not like him as a character at all or something.
Damn, almost nailed the vote, but did get Artemis voting for Angel.
Cannot wait for SFC 12!
Survivor isn't just about who makes the biggest moves. Just sayin'.
Hooray! Well done, sassy little Zafara! You rock!
I think this was one of the best seasons ever. All of the final three were very deserving, and it was a generally fun ride. I'm glad that the winner was still somewhat surprising.
This would almost be like if Courtney beat Todd and Amanda.
Awesome. I'm glad that Angel won this season as she may not have played the most effective game but showed quick-wittedness again and again.
Eli on the other hand is a nice runner-up for this season. Broken powers but definitely the most energetic survivor in SFC11. As for Sunflower... she kinda deserved it as she cared less about her own principles than Angel&Eli
Awesome season, SWSU! Just when you expect an author to run out of ideas sometime you prove me and the others wrong again. Actually SFC11 is among my favorite seasons now thanks to the nice character mix and the twists. I'll definitely be around for SFC12
I think Eli played a better game, but Angel had more old teammates on the jury. It is too bad Eli overlooked something like that when he kept Angel over Paine.
Either way it was another good season with some nice twists and good moves.
Quite a surprise indeed. I honestly expected Eli to win, then shriek like a howler monkey fandom style. For Angel's sake, friendship truely is magic.
i can only forgive this if eli is in the next all stars.
@Moonie: exactly courtney rocks (qazox) and this is my first live season im just not acomenter
I have a suggestion have every single winner compete for 1 billion dollars in 12
@JermhyTheHedgehog: Actually I would hope he does that in 17 so there's 16 players.
all in favor for winners competing for 1 billion dollars say I.
11th: SFC8- I think we can all agree on this, it's still readable and all but the winner was predictable and the cast wasn't that great. Kind of badly written, definitely the worst but that isn't saying much because all of your seasons are good in some way, this season had a good pre-merge. However I feel as if all the good characters from pre-merge got tired out and boring during post-merge or left during pre-merge.
10th: SFC4- I'm really conflicted on this season but it's one where the winner really taints it for me. Barney is by far my least favorite winner, boring and predictable and the whole Luke thing got boring too. The Canons> Fans (other than Lily and Joe) but none of them were going to win because of your rule that no non submitted characters so all of them ended up leaving early.
9th: SFC10- It was a weird season, it started out really strong but the season in general was just meh or average, very much a returnee season feel. I think you should've waited a bit more for a second all stars.
8th: SFC7- The rest are all really good. I wasn't a big SFC7 fan when it first came out because I felt Ker was too obvious a winner and the heavy-handed Hantz parody annoyed me, but when rereading it was actually pretty damn good. Not fantastic but pretty good.
7th: SFCAS- I need to reread this season to fully collect my thoughts on it, but it was very good for the most part. Just a lot of good people leaving early (Sin, Vinnie are the first I can think of) Bitsy's storyline was great though and for the most part, it was entertaining and the characters lived up to their all star status.
6th: SFC2- Love this season, two of the best villains ever, a solid winner, a lot of good characters and story lines. It was pretty damn good.
5th: SFC1- You channel TDI a little to much in this season for my liking, but it's a really good first season, fantastic in a lot of ways.
4th: SFC5- I'm surprised this season isn't more popular, it is one of my personal favorites. Marius/Gatemaster were hilarious and one of my favorite duos ever, Marius imo is a top 3 winner, really underrated as a character and there were a lot of good moments and mostly unpredictable.
3rd: SFC11- A really fun season, the first half was epic and the second half was consistently entertaining, really just a lot of fun to read. The best overall cast ever imo, this season got me back into SFC so I hope SFC12 is just as good if not better than this.
2nd: SFC9- The only complaint I have about this season is that Bonnie got to much airtime, but even that evens out because it made her downfall so much more delicious. This is a season chock full of great story lines and characters, SWSU, you got your groove back with this season imo. Cherman is fantastic, Bonnie is fantastic (in this season SFC10 Bonnie is probably my least favorite ever), The Latrines are great, Madison and Brent (whatever their name was) were hilarious and there were many other good things about this season.
1st: SFC3- I've reread it to many times so it's kind of lost it's shine to me, but this should be a nearly unanimous decision that this is your best season. I really felt like I got to know the characters and it was overall just epic, fun, entertaining and perfect.
my brain melted when I read this season. I thought one person was going to win, then they left. so I moved to another! they left the following episode. so I moved to another and guess what? they lost. I give up trying to choose a winner so il stick with angel I guess...
on another note, bacon.
@yo: The Total Drama franchise didn't start until a year (give or take two months) after SFC1 started. Check yo facts before posting, maybe?
Alright so, next SFC needs to have a Dr Who universe character. DO IT.
11th - SFC2
9th - SFC1
8th - SFC3
7th - SFC7
6th - SFC9
5th - SFC8
4th - SFC5
3rd - SFC11
2nd - SFC6
1st - SFC10
If SFC12 includes Meghan and she wins it'll be the best season. ROTFLMFAO.
I won't be doing a ranking, though Seasons 3, 2, and 9 are my favorites. I'm actually more fine with Angel winning than I thought. I was supporting Eli, but I know full well that genre savvy only goes so far. Overall, a really good season. Looking forward to Fans vs. Canons 2.
I just read through this entire season in one sitting and I have to say that this was one of your best seasons ever. I liked almost everyone in the cast or had the reactions to them that you were aiming to garner; I did find Juiced Up and Claus to be annoying, but I know that was the whole point of their characters and I fully got that they were meant to be comic relief villains and took great satisfaction in seeing them get pwned. They really did serve as a refreshing change from the viler than vile villain masterminds of recent seasons, like you said in your notes on Juiced Up's boot.
I loved Sunflower's character arc (though the bitterness she got from the jury made me cringe -- the poor pony didn't deserve that), Eli's character development as more than a gimmick character and how his powers didn't make him perfect, and Angel's snarky and down-to-earth personality. I even loved Whitney's low-key nice girl personality, Dwayne turning laziness into an asset, and Tialayla's not-quite-nice-but-still-positive-overall character role. Crisco and Flaithiri worked very well as decoy protagonists. Artemis...I didn't come in here with any prior knowledge of her creator's comments, so I was pretty neutral on her character/role as I saw it alone, but I am glad that you chose to have Angel win instead of her.
I will admit that I did feel disappointed for a bit after seeing that Angel won; like Eli, I thought she had no chance of winning, and I thought that either Paine's vote for him would clinch a "the one who played the hardest won" win for Eli or that Sunflower would pull off a Cherman-like win. After some reflection, though, I have to agree that Angel was the best choice; in a season that was mainly about unexpected plot twists and willful defiance of story conventions and expectations, it made perfect sense to have an out-of-left-field winner who really didn't do much on their own and like you said, Eli's god-modding would have detracted from a win by him. Still wish that the jury could have overcome their bitterness a bit to consider Sunflower's case more rationally, though.
I think Sunflower got an overload of hate, if I was in any of the jurors' position, I would have pointed out her success, I would have appreciated Eli and Angel as well, I like Angel and I really like Eli, but Sunflower would have one my vote because she grew into a fantastic player.
