Turns out 5 is bigger than 4, which leads to Dwayne being Juror number 2.
With Dwayne its a mixed bag. I got everything I wanted out of him, but I feel other aspects of him I could have handled better. Since I planned on his story being how despite all these negative aspects to his personality he had like laziness, unmotivated, and unable to listen to authority well. They were offset by his ingenuity with making camp life easier. With all the shots of him always lying around and being lazy I assumed it would still show his faults without having to constantly have confessionals of Dwayne being lazy, but w/e. I did need the Audience to turn against him slightly once the mutiny hit and it started becoming a real detriment to the game to where when he did finally have to act and do stuff, it completely backfires and comes off as too little too late. Plus his laziness in winning challenges for the tribe was also mainly due to my own laziness and wanting to end a challenge early. So it all worked :)
In the end though I am happy with his character, and I think that in his time in the season he did what he needed to do.
Well I did not think it would be Dwayne but I am happy Eli is still around. I am ticked that mister wannabee chessmater Claus is still here but since he voted along with Team Sunflower, I give him a break. I guess him and Juiced Up really are good for something other then being egostical, delusional "villians."
I liked him, he kind of annoyed me in the end but out of the three options he was the one I was hoping would go since Eli/Claus are in my top 4 favs of the season left alongside Tilayla and Juiced Up
Dwayne was lame.
I wonder if those common enemies are either going to be Juiced Up & Claus, Tia's alliance, or Team Sunflower. I cannot wait for the next episode.
You gotta give Dwayne credit for taking his elimination so maturely. Also I find it funny that Claus acts like he is a Survivor mastermind, and yet the fact that he voted along side Team Sunflower proves that he totally fell for their lies.
u.u me sad about Dwayne leaving, he was a great character and funny, but sometimes he was way too lazy and that got I got at it sometimes, but still I like him and he made the jury YAY
Goodbye, Dwayne. You were cool at times and not so cool at others, but averaged out pretty decent in my book. It's better that you leave than Eli, but worse than Claus leaving.
Also, Sunflower's little thing about the seats was both amusing and sweet. I imagine if she gets the million, she'd end up donating it to chair-ity.
So, Dwayne does leave. I did like what he brought to the comic, but I do think there are better characters out there still playing. Plus, he's about to enjoy a Triple Baconator Extreme, so I don't feel too bad for him.
I wonder how much longer the two remaining stooges will be able to last though. With their constant stupidity and immunity threat, it may be in everyone's interest to vote them off quickly. If Eli, Paine, or Sunflower could be persuaded, it could shake things up a bit.
Well, I didn't want Dwayne to leave, but when it came down to my favorite character and my second favorite, I guess I'm glad my favorite didn't go.
Meanwhile, a couple points:
Eli didn't talk once before he cast his ballot. That didn't make my heart start pumping until the final vote was said, but it helped to solidify to me that Eli wasn't leaving this comic.
The part about Sunflower and the chair was great XD
The common enemy is going to be Juiced and Claus, and they're going to be as clueless when Juiced gets voted out as Russel was in his elimination back in SFC 7. They're going to think they have both sides in their pocket when they have neither. And if they aren't THAT naive, they're going to play their "idol" and Juiced leaves anyway.
Glad Dwayne gets his baconator :3
Dwayne was an okay character. Not really going to miss him. I agree with rac567, he went out very well.
Anyway, next episode sounds interesting, especially with what the first two bullet points bring up.
I'd like to see Dwayne back for the next all-stars.
This departure had to happen sooner or later.
Dwayne was a cool character - he pretended to be lazy and worked harder than most of the others. He got the threat status so early I was almost doubting he would jump the merge line but I'm glad he made it. Dwayne may have lost a few sympathy points because he acted smug closer to the end but in the end he ranks quite high in my book.
Looks like the Claus&JuicedUp duo is far from being done for, oh well...
Dwayne was a gary stu nuff said.
Times like this make me miss the Ponderosa comics.
@Chaun: I want them back too.
