Wonder if Eli or Paine fully grasped what the other said?
Paine, go to hell. You're going home this episode. Mariano is going to get rid of you, and you deserve to go. You just can't learn. Eli did NOT deserve that.
@Tailslover13: Wait. Before, you said Eli was annoying. Now you're defending him because Paine called him out on the one thing that annoys you? Hypocritical much?
Battle of the different forms of logic. I think this is the time I ever seen Eli being mad at someone. However his attempt at trash talking was an epil fail.
even if I like Eli, the foreshadowing stuff is not cool he says whats going to happen but it never happens, also now i know what CPP is.
What Paine said: "You're a fake, and if you're not, you're wasting an extraordinary power" (which, to be fair, he is kinda wasting it, but if he didn't, he'd by the most broken character/mastermind in SFC history).
What Eli said: "You're an important good/hero character who will never win :3"
Paine's story arc is amazing.
Eli has a point. Paine is setting himself up as the coolguy/heroic character that always gets eliminated in the end, in order to make the villian look more threatening.
@Tailslover13: yeah he did. If Eli truly has those powers, then why is he riding duck ala orange's coattails? He should be dominating this tribe, but instead has done nothing but make incorrect predictions about everything, except episode 3.
I should be all angry/happy at/for Paine, but all I keep thinking is "Oh! So that's what CPP means."
Well, I doubt this conversation will influence the way they plan their games and one of them will probably be gone after this round anyway.
Nothing against Eli but at least I can agree with the points Paine's making in this comic. Question is if Eli's behaviour will help him surviving as a follower or achieve the opposite
Paine had good intentions doing this but with Eli being Eli, I doubt there will be a big change.
Well, in reply to SWSU:
Eli probably understood Paine, but Paine did NOT understand him. And yes, Eli, I agree with the last 2 panels, which makes him cool.
