Well that's one idol... who's chances of being played.... just went up in FLAMES!
Looks like Johnny's fears back in SFC8 were completely justified.
And didn't Whitney already find an idol in that idol? There were two? That's odd...
Smart move, I think almost anyone... except eli, would of burned it
Also speaking of flames
There is enough fire on this page without adding a flame war thank you
She found the Idol in the Idol Stand. That little platform its on.
haha good one paine you got rid of the idol for your own good, but crisco for me is so selfish that Iwant to kick his face right now
@Tailsgod: WORST WASTE OF AN IDOL EVER!
I can see not having Russell, but to deny us the awesomeness of Boston Rob? That is unforgivable!
@qazox: They would of had Russel on their team, not the excellence that is Boston Rob
You had me worried for a second.
I like this comic series. I mean, I REALLY like this comic series. And because of that I believe I'd like the real show of survivor as well. But I've never seen a single episode of the real survivor, so I have no idea who these people are :p
Can someone fill me in on who they are please?
@anime9001: SFC7 could help a bit with that.
Two of the biggest Creator's Pets in the show's history.
Oh no looks like Crisco is going to become a griefer type contestant. I hate those guys because they purposely ruin their tribes just to get ahead in the game. Luckily they never seem to win. Plus Eli might use his genre savvy to warn the rest of tribe about Crisco before it is too late.
I guess the point of this strip was a big take that to Hantz and Mariano.
Jerks. Burning an amazing idol like that. Having Russell come into the game would've been epic and would've made this comic 20% cooler. I suppose Rob would've spiced things up, too. Such morons for throwing it away. Alas, it's just another shot from SWSU at the two Survivor legends. I don't care if the entire universe disagrees with me; Rob and Russell made the game amazing. Without them, it's not the same.
Curse you, Paine and Crisco. A plague upon both your houses!
(Cookies to anyone who can identify two famous characters whose exclamations I borrowed in my usual rude rant today!)
well, I feel stupid. Should have at least caught Hantz. If they called him Russel instead of Hantz I'd have noticed. Still don't know who Boston Rob is, but I sure here his name enough. Thanks for the help though people.
@anime9001: Sorry about that from before. I tried to just make a comment, and for some reason it made me reply to one of YOUR comments for some reason. But, fixed it now~
"Having Russel come into the game"
I can't tell if you didn't read sfc7 or just REALLY dislike the Hantz tribe. Also, the references are Rainbow Dash (20% cooler) and Mercutio(a plague on both your houses), right?
@ImJustA: First off, I read every single season, and I love Russell. My favorite Survivor ever, right alongside Fabio and Cochran. Second, yeah, you got them both right. Congrats to you.
And here I thought that the idols couldn't get more evil, thank god Russell doesn't get another appereance besides an AllStars season now. It's better Eli doesn't know what he missed
Hmm, I wonder what kind of possiblities there are with Crisco's idol... Will he be able to enter the Mariano tribe and leave it in the same round? Will he be forced to attend one TribalCouncil with the other tribe and maybe get voted out then?
Crisco has the chance to set the marks for being one of the main villains this season or fail miserably now
Aw, I like SFC Russell! Mostly because he's hilariously annoying...
As for Crisco's plan, it could work or backfire horribly.
I was kinda disappointed too, honestly. What has always made SFC good is when a major villain gets brought in that EVERYONE hates. They get annoying and made you frustrated, but that's the point! And it keeps you reading too, hoping that eventually, justice will be brought, and when it does, you feel quite content. So far though, this season seems to have no villain. Granted, Crisco has an ego the size of the island itself, and the two strong boys on the other team are complete jerks, but there's no villain in the background. Honestly, I think adding a major threat in the game would have been interesting, as while you would think that a major threat would be taken out instantly, sometimes people join up with the major threat instead, trying to stay on the winning side. But oh well. Who knows, there may be a second idol like that somewhere. We'll see.
@Shyruni: I kinda have to agree with you. In most seasons, there is a clear-cut villain that we can all hate upon and who is viciously wrecking the game. Last season was Bonnie, the season before that was her persona Prescilla, in eight it was Matt, in seven it was probably Wrecker, in six...it was equally spread out among Maria/Mo/Mary/Bitsy and maybe a few others, in five it was Marius, in four it was Sephiroth (for one episode) and then Minerva and Lilly the rest of the way, in three it was Baxter, in two it was Mary and Vinnie, and in one...uh...okay, I think it's safe to say that the very first one didn't really HAVE a true evil villain; Oran, Pat, Hugo and Skylar don't count, as one was just a whiny baby, one was just a bit rude but not evil, one was just obnoxiously stupid, and the other was just sneaky. I have no idea why I wrote all this out; probably because I love making lists. But, the point is, I agree with you. There doesn't seem to a major villain so far this season that is so blatantly obvious. Juiced Up, Claus and Casey are easily "distraction villains", and are more annoying than they are "evil". Crisco is vile, but he isn't being cutthroat like Bonnie or vicious like Matt, so unless he suddenly starts being deadlier, it's not him. Sexy is just plain irritating, but she's not really a villain, either. All that's left for possible evil is Brad. If it's not him...I'll be curious to see how this season progresses. Dammit, you've left me anxious now!
After two seasons of major villain domination. I wanted to not showcase the baddies as much
@SWSU-Master: I actually like that. I wasn't fond of SFC10 because there weren't many likeable characters left in the final rounds. This is a pleasant change of pace.
Although I'd have to know more about that trap idol to know for sure... couldn't they have used it to summon russel during a tribal council and then immediately vote him off... essentially nullifying the tribal and buying an extra day?
Yes, bring Russel into the season of (near) unlimited idols. He'd probably come into to the game with one from the start as well. I don't know much about the real people, but I still know that's a bad idea.
@Tailsgod: but the awesomeness of B-rob >>> the evil of Hantz. Though I like both.
This can't help but make me think... of the last time an idol was burned...
Eli: Hi. :)
Crisco: YOU'RE SO COOL LIKE COPYING WHITNEY!
