There are really 2 things I want to address here. The boot, and why it happened.
For why Ryuia couldn't tell the difference now when she did before...
1.) She's Ryuia, she's inconsistent
2.) She noticed the smell. When Baxter was wearing the clothes it smelled like Vent.
3.) For a girl like her who's madly in love with someone, having them return the love was enough to distract her.
4.) She never told Minerva or talked to Ventious again... since #3 as well.
Now that that's out of the way... Onto Ventious, when I wrote for him in the first appearance I wanted him to be the godlike master of Corsona, and exaggerate alot of his qualities (Thank you Ryuia and Chloe), and to have no flaws. This season however I wanted to be more honest with Vent and show some of his faults and to take away the Golden boy look he had. Judging by the reactions, I think that was accomplished. It was always in Vents plan to go out here by Ryuia's hands, and I wanted to have them come to an understanding before I booted him. :)
Well any respect I had for Ryuvia just went out the window. I was hoping she was only humoroing him but she actually fell for the act hook, line, and sinker. At least Ventious took his elimination like a man.
I think that dirty little stunt has made Baxter and Bonnie public enemies number one, if that is what the episode preview is telling us.
I...really don't think those are very good reasons why Ryuia was fooled. I mean, she's always been a tad crazy, but never Izzy-level. :/
Also no one left is genuinely positive. SFC has been getting REALLY negative since SFC8, which is...not really my preference. If others like it, great, but it doesn't do it for me.
And Ryuia proves she is not a logical person. You would think she would realize the plan not working with the number of votes.
The question is now that Team Minerva took the first hit, can her alliance survive? On the other hand, Vent did look for the Idol with Minerva, meaning she has a clue too.
@Vilecheese: I know, right? I've seen how SWSU really likes to experiment with the seasons, but I'm not sure if making them more negative is the panacea for SFC to move further. I think there are a lot more ways than the negative route to break away from being too cliche.
At least SFC9 had Cherman.
well i really hope now that kris ryuia or minerva wins
@mydoctor93: Cherman was not even that positive.
rt555: You may have a point with BB being targets
Vilecheese: She's not Izzy level in terms of wits. Sanity maybe, smarts no. She just made a dumb decision. Its been shown throughout the season shes been easily manipulated. Why not punish her and boot her BFF due to her own actions.
AkumaTh: That Idol may be their last hope.
mydoctor: Can never seem to get the villain balance right eh? Too little in SFC6. Too many in SFC10. Live and ya learn.
sesareee: Those odds arent terrible
the problem with SFC6 wasn't really the lack of villains imo, it was the...predictablity.
@SWSU-Master: Trying to advance your work further from your previous work is perfectly natural. But trying to get extreme, polarizing elements that may or may not work in a season, to work, is kinda risky in my opinion.
I'm hoping for either Jakie to win, or for Bonnie so there isn't a chance to see her come back. But both of those are just as likely to happen as me successfully learning about the edgic rating stuff.
@mydoctor93: And Cherman was super UTR versus the CPOTTNNNNNNN6 villain. SUCH BALANCE.
@Slicer37: It could've used maybe one of Mary/Vinnie making it to near the end, but that's really it in terms of villains.
The main problem of the season was Bitsy/Violet. -_-
@Vilecheese: He had huge presence despite being UTR.
@mydoctor93: Compared to Bonnie, he was freaking Mary Sartain.
@mydoctor93: but cherman was actually kinda M, because people were constantly bitching about him.
and Ryuia IS as dumb as a box of wet rocks.
The Duo is Bonnie and Baxter.. of the two, Baxter's in bigger trouble via Ryuia than Bonnie is, even if Baxter throws Bonnie under the bus.
sigh.....and there went my season favorite. If Ryuia could win any challenge in the game, it would have been knowing everything about Vent....
Also, until know, I wouldn't say that Baxter was much of a villian as compared to last season. Was hoping that would stay, but oh well...
Ok I somehow knew Ventious wouldn't get farther than the Top5 but leaving at this point of the game? He played a role in many storylines and although he never was in power, I liked to see him make the best out of it and survive so far
That's also the Baxter I liked so much in his original season - suceeding with a plan that really hurts his targets. Even without the reasons given, it will leave a nasty blot in Ryuia's peformance book now. Seeing the preview, I just wonder how long Baxter's and Bonnie's victory will last...?
Ryuia to kill Baxter Plz
YAY. BYE VENTIOUS, GO HUG PUPPIES AND READ THE BIBLE OR WHATEVER THE HELL YOU DO FROM THE JURY BENCH.
I expected the plan to not work, but clearly that was not the case. Oh well, I'll live.
Though, Baxter has probably made a very, very, very personal enemy, which could place him in a very bad position.
if your in love, that means you are illogical. so this makes perfect sense damnit ^.^
There goes the idol clue.
Though he might have told Ryuia.
But Ryuia doesn't deserve an idol.
Go to Ventious, Ryuia. Rid the game of your stupidity.
And here I thought Ryuia would be smarter than that and pull some 'haha, I knew you were not my Venti' line on Baxter. Seems I gave her too much credit.
